@WannabeBetter2 жыл бұрын
They look amazing as always. Have you ever tried using acrylic instead? I do this and it seems like it cements it into place so much better. Not to mention the application is easier. You just do a thin layer on your natural nail, and a thin layer on the underside of the tip itself. The spillage is not as much and the gel and you can "almost" do an extended underside Frenchish look.

Thanks Vee for another great video! Would you consider doing a live watch me work? I would like to know how long it should be taking me to do a full set of fill-in
@krystalfukinmarie7572 жыл бұрын
Everyone works at a different pace and speed comes with time. The more you do it the faster you’ll get. That’s why you should never compare the time it takes you to the time it takes someone else, especially if the person you’re comparing time to has been doing it much longer than you. The whole timing a set mostly applies to working in salon, where they want a new a butt in that seat every 45-60 minutes (for basic sets that don’t have detailed hand painted artwork or designs out of gemstones and caviar beads, bcuz that stuff takes longer) For me personally doing a fill for both my hands takes me 30-45 minutes, if I’m doing a fill and rebalance it takes me closer to an hour/hour and a half. I’ve only been back into doing my nails for a little over a year now. Hope this helps you not to be hard on yourself 💜

Loved this quick cute style Any tips on how to control your left hand when working on right I hardly can draw create anything with my non dominant hand can you also doing something a little challenging !
@Tori-Graves2 жыл бұрын
Just be focused and sturdy, I got it down after a few tries. One thing I noticed just use your right hand to grab your bead then switch it over to the left hand so you won't have no thick nails on one side.
@krystalfukinmarie7572 жыл бұрын
I agree with Tori’s comment + something that helped me out was doing other things in my daily life using my left hand that I wouldn’t normally use my left hand for (putting on lipstick, filling in my brows, on spare time drawing shapes on paper and writing the alphabet then once I got more comfortable writing it I started writing it in cursive) all of this slowly gets your hand to get used to doing these motions and movements without going all wonky and you get better control with it. Before you know it, one day you’re going be stressing out like 😩 ugh damn it’s time to do my right hand again, but then you’ll sit down and start and be like 😮 and it will go as smoothly as when you’re working on your left hand!

Love how they turned out! Can you be able to show us how to do this just using a hand file?
@krystalfukinmarie7572 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? It’s the same process just a different tool.
@marlenimedrano27542 жыл бұрын
@@krystalfukinmarie757 Yes, but maybe she can be more detailed on how to use the hand file, what grit we need.
@krystalfukinmarie7572 жыл бұрын
@@marlenimedrano2754 Ohh okay, I get you now! So yeah as far as using hand files that is more something you need to see huh I wouldn’t know how to explain it in words! But for grit overall your 100/180 is good for pretty much everything. The best rundown I can give you on file grits is 80/80 is best for removing acrylic and quickly getting rid of a lot of bulk. 100 is best for taking down length of natural nails, or enhancements, shaping side walls and free edge. 150 is best for shaping the surface of a nail enhancement, blending tips into the natural nail, and removing premature lifting before product application. 180 is best for contouring the nail enhancement, prepping the natural nail for enhancements and shortening and shaping the free edge of natural nail. 240 prep natural nails for gel polish, but not enhancements, and getting a super smooth surface on enhancements. I hope that helps some, I know it can be confusing. I use a 100/180 for basically everything.

Thank you for you’re videos ! I can’t wait to show you my work once I do it! I also can’t wait to be as good as you! You’re work is amazing, btw I love the background music ! I have a question! Do you prefer the nail tips with just the tip or the ones that come all the way to the cuticle of the nail? Whats the difference??
