The problem I have with a 1:2 risk-reward ratio is with multi day swing trading. If your long position is up 1R, do you move your stop loss or leave it where it is. Do you wait to take profits at 2R or do you let it run longer to potentially capture more profits or do you capture part of your profits before 2R which makes is it less likely that you'll achieve 2R but guarantees at least partial rewards that may be less than 2R.
