What havoc this weather manipulation has wrought on us all…besides the flooding, there is the exposure to the toxic chemicals that these criminals use! Praying for you both this doesn’t go beyond the town walls/bridges. Suggest getting some sand bags filled and placed around your sensitive dwelling doors/windows. Do you need fresh water for drinking/cooking/bathing? Does the town have an evacuation plan if people must go to higher ground? Well Jane; that is considerably more water than before😮!!! Your right though the moles may high tail it to higher ground, and chickens would too bet they be on the roof or in the trees or up by your kitchen. This is troublesome but there would have to be a catastrophic rain storms and the river would have to rise over two times to get to a habitable part of your buildings. My only worry would be the old roofs that you still have and the xtra damage you maybe taking on from the rain. 🌊🫨 Always in my thoughts 💕take care!!!

You need to get a few water tanks. While it's this high in the river, you will be allowed to remove water from it. France is likely to have a period where you are not allowed to use water to water the garden again like last year. This way, you will have a save supply.

We are also getting flooding here in USA. My garden vegetables have started to grow gills. Take heart dear Jane, it is not a very wide river, which can be more damaging in the end. but it is not too bad. No use standing and fretting about it, there is a overflow, but there is nothing you can do about that, except trust that all will be fine. I was thinking of placing a barrier outside the entrance to the oven and you can remove it after, but your garden could flood on the grass side. I believe it will not become serious, you will just have to stay away and off the grass area until dried out. I believe you will be fine. Let it go and have a cup of tea. Many blessings.

Have you checked through newspapers etc if your area is known for flooding. You would have checked before you purchased though.
@amayastrata46294 ай бұрын
When we have flooding in our town the river usually produces a whole load of debris like branches, etc. It then gets caught up in thé bridge arches which makes it all worse. I know it’s a big worry for you but you don’t seem to have any debris collecting under the bridge which would be a disaster for you because the water would just back up. The water usually goes down fairly quickly but I hope you don’t get more rain for a few days at least.

Well done jane. 👏 I had the same thought when I watched that vlog……… I suddenly remembered that in my garage somewhere was a pair of green waist or shoulder height waders, that I brought home in 2014. They belonged to an ex boss and friend that died using a circular saw in his workshop. Very sad, he was a good friend to me many times. But he had a pair of those waders which I found when I cleared out his numerous outbuildings, helping out his family. He had only I’m sure used then once or twice in a man made small lake he had made on his property. I thought I’ll take them home as they would only of been chucked into the skip. When I watched your vlog I thought of those waders, still don’t know of course if they would be the right feet size for Tony and as I said already……. are in my garage.
