I was a bouncer for 10 years and I genuinely believe he didn't know he killed her until the detectives told him, and that's part of what makes this interrogation so interesting. Alcohol is one of the most fucked up drugs, I've had patrons get into violent fights and then come back the next day and have no memory of what happened the night before. When people drink they have an incredibly hard time forming new memories, and he had a ton to drink. It's so sad.

Oh definitely, especially alcohol mixed with street drugs or prescriptions, even drugs like prozac can cause blackouts and extreme anger. Its the main reason i quit drinking 3 years ago. @@napoleonbonerfart278Any opiate and alcohol together can be quite insane. But by far the worst, in terms of memory retention and being coherent, is Xanax and alcohol. Just one alone is bad enough, but together you have a truly walking zombie. Back in my addict days, I used to have this dealer who you could literally come in, give him money, put it in his 1 hand, he would hand you the pills, then 10 seconds later you could go "dude, you going to give me the drugs?" And he would hand more pills to you again. I'm serious, you could do this 2 or 3 or 4 times in a row to the guy until he had basically nothing left and he would go "damn you bought me out bro. Now I got to restock." As long as the money was in his other hand, he would look down and go "oh, ok," and get more. Craziest thing. He would have NO memory of doing deals with you. So it was like we were meeting and doing a "first deal" every single time for like 6 months. Like, he knew me, but he didn't. He literally came down from out of state, fronted me 50 pills, and never brought it up again. He just forgot about the entire thing. The craziest thing man. He was always, always living in a different spot every week. A different shed, a different room, his moms, his uncles, a motel etc. Ole D.J. was his name Hahah

"Like, her face on the ground and her nose was bleeding and than...and then, the conversation, I could tell it was just like not going anywhere, and nothing was happening and (sic) and I went back home." That's some chilling stuff. Even when he lies, he can't help but make it pretty clear what happened when you read between the lines. The "conversation" wasn't "going anywhere" because Yeardley was unconscious or dead. Movies often present murderers to us as criminal masterminds, Hannibal Lectre-type geniuses, but in reality killers are, a lot more often, unimpressive brutes like this. All aggression, no brains.
