Minthe was stressed because she was in the crypts, desperate to find that last element, so she couldn't focus. It happens to the best of us. Worth it, though! I like the pink lights, because it's pink and red (both colors that you were saying could be interpreted for rose) because the shadows look red/dark pink. So, you get the red, and then you can use it for the pink gen, too. 🌹
