My doctor’s grandparents told me that at a certain age, insurance demands a cognitive screening for elders which they gladly agreed to. If there are frailties with their brain function, they are entitled to services of all kinds and specialist evaluations for simple things like walking, swallowing, bathing themselves, administering medications and even cleaning their own house. These should be welcomed services and not to be feared. There is only one reason Biden and his family won’t demand these cognitive tests. And we all know that reason.
