I do own an RR 310 and yes when you are at high speed like 140+ the breaks are not inspiring. But the top speed you got is correct it struggles to go beyond 160. Vibrations yes they do kreap in btw 5 to 7k RPM. But only think which made me buy this bike is for touring and some times for speed. This was the only bike which could serve all this.

I own Apache rr 310, it is not vibrating as much as you said it is vibrating like any other motorcycle i.e normal vibration . and the brake is absolutely brilliant it is better than Gixxer which I owned previously.and it is true 310 is awsome

This is what nobody will tell you about RC. The petrol rate has reached ₹82/litre , and RC's fuel tank is 9.5 litres with an average of 20-22. So u might want to wait for the weekend to ride it and stare at it for the rest of the days while it sits dumb in your garage with a massive frantic power of 44bhp. But hey! Its fast. 😄

Buy a Duke 390 then. Similar cost to the Apache, similar mileage as well and a bigger tank

vibrations are quite prominent at speeds around 100-110. To resolve this TVS has updated the handle bar weights, which in turn reduced vibrations.

RR310 is more comfortable and you can tour on it and ride in city without pain and it gives better milege. in these department rc fails and rc heats up alot in city... We are not going to race tracks or on highway everyday.. we r going to ride then bike in city nd highway in which RR310 is much better than RC.. just tell me how long u can ride ur bike in city traffic or highway?? It will leave u with a painful back shoulder and wrist... These stuffs u didnt covered in ur video nd u did a biased review. Thats all

In heavy traffic rc 390 is not going to last more then 20 min.. After that engine get so hot that bike will stop.. Heat management on rs is not better than RR...

me and my 3 more buddies have 310rr and 4 of have crossed 160km/hr top speed.... mine is 161 and one of my buddy has gone 164..... the console is vertical to make it more AERODYNAMICS....and the amount of information and data it gives is WAYYYY more and better than anyother bike in indian market braking is not that bad as u make it sound...infact im pretty happy with it..... AND ofcourse it is not track oriented like rc390 so it misses out some accelaration at top speed...and its another reason for missing out slipper clutch-not track oriented.... me and my buddies have done more than 1500km touring on this....and highest stretch we did was from bhubaneswar to Visakhapatnam which was around 500km and it was really comfortable for a fullfaired bike..... i would seriously like to see anyone tour on rc390.....pretty sure waist is gonna snap like a twig.... my mileage is showing 31km/ltr...coz i dont ride at higher rpm in cities and other 3 of my buddies show 28,28,29... AND YES I WILL SAY....IT IS WAY BETTER THAN RC390 OR DUKE390

powerdrift WAS a pure enthusiast channel.. then bikewale guys bought it ... n you got the powerdrift of current day, with just too much cinematics ... i wonder where sarge works now... miss him badly... vikas rocks... he is a brand no one can buy... like that sarge should be his own brand.

have a look at the triumph daytona 675rr review from powerdrift done by sarge , n compare that to current powerdrift vids... instant unsubscribe...out of rage ...lol jk.. they are still better than some idiots , with their new gen speak n cinematics n all.... but still no sarge edit.. its not rr just a single r :) as he cleverly puts it , the bike to buy even if you have all the money in the world.. this is my dream bike ,a triple cylinder 675 rather than a 1000 cc 4 cylinder... . although it costs as much as the latter id still go with this :D anyday. ps..id like to see vikas review it someday

Apache is more practical more comfortable better built quality and moreover best in class mileage..... I think most the people are normal riders or must be having casual track days.... In which rc is best but when you compare it with apache it fails in many department!!! I think everyone will agree that rc is miserable in city or long rides...... Only performance doesn't matter 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

shyam singh so if any of the above bikes shows 15-20 kmpl you are ok with it??? But maximum will be not!!! As i said no one here is a track rider, both rc and rr will be bought for regular commuting and long rides. And for this mileage also plays a role.

R u thinking Apache built quality and engine refinement is better than KTM ? Lol ...😂😂😂😂... Bhai .. TVS Bajaj bikes are not so refinement not so good in built quality everyone agree this... ( Rc is pure track meachine I agree rr310 is good commuter bike I love that sitting posture of Apache rr310 . And I love that head lamp) but the vibration is very shit .... And it's not an value for money product / RC and duke 390 is value for money product .. if I pay 2.38 for rr310 ? better to pay 2. 55 for Duke 390 ..😎 overall I love some things in Apache rr310 but don't compare with 390 . Farman Sd bro i think u r out of your mind.... Rc is one of the vibrating n least refined single cylinder bike. Rc only gives you power nothing else. N let me tell u ktm is always being tilted towards giving only power to its motorcycle.

I own an RR 310 too and I feel vibrations are there only around 6k-7k RPM which isn’t really bothersome, but then I mostly ride below 5.5-6k RPM only. I don’t ride fast mostly so I feel the brakes are more than adequate for me atleast. Also you haven’t spoken about the absolute great mileage of the bike which is around 35 Kmpl if ridden normally. The reason I purchased it was for its absolute great looks and easy tractability, the mileage was a surprising plus point. According to me the biggest drawback for this bike is it’s Apache badging only. Because it feels like a different league bike all together. I have put up few videos of my bike on my channel too for anyone interested to watch it. Cheers.

This bike is frugal than rc 390 , is more practical in city commutes , is more comfortable ergonomically , has a decent top speed of 168 kmph(speedo indicated ) , has ton of features on the cluster , has the best gearbox in the segment .. Looks the best in its segment and whlie being sporty its a real good touror too ... What else someone would want ? Not everyone takes out their bikes on track .. The only thing rc is good at is acceleration/top speed and track riding .. Otherwise this bike does everyting better than the rc ..

Apart from slipper clutch nothing seems genuine cons.. As you said we can't compare with RC390 because it's 373 cc engine obviously it'll have more acceleration in top rev's. Console is much better than clustered KTM. I rode the bike and brake byte is just awesome, ABS intrusion is very transparent as well. You're shifting very late when you're hunting for top speed, why can't you do clutchless up-shifts as you said in one of your videos... Don't be partial bro.. We accept KTM has more performance on offer but TVS always makes bike with everyone in mind not for a single category of riders.. .Ride hard and be safe.Keep reviewing....

Please donot spread wrong info. Sintered brake pads are standard in this motorcycle. Moreover braking is far better on rr 310 compared to rc 390

I'm confused whether to go for CBR 250R or this bike, ABS version of CBR and this bike are closely priced. Like you mentioned my usage will be 80% for daily commute and remaining 20% in touring. Which one would you suggest Vikas ? I like the looks of RTR but I'm worried about the vibrations and also not sure about the TVS servicing and spares cost.

Vikas, first of all it's not possible coz mine gets to nitpicking top speed of 174 -178. When I bought this motorcycle there were very little vibrations near the tank end and seat area near to balls in that small region. That too in the top end only but never on the handle bar, just ask tvs to get you a new bike, which is not defective like this one.Although they are kind enough. Btw after snatching it a lot in the top end I have done a max of 181km/h. You are the first one giving such responses after riding, just get it checked. Good I bought this bike before watching yours 😄

He was ripping the bike at a higher rpm on 3rd gear and said there are vibrations. In an ideal world, one would shift to 4th. So, I second what you said bhai. I don't think there should be vibrations when cruising.

first of all think it's a 310 cc motorcycle..are u mad comparing it with the KTM RC 390..which has extra 10 bhp more..rr310 is the best in 300 cc category right now in India..it has the best brakes and ride quality..u are one talking against it over KTM rc390...these two shouldn't be compared..if u so will u compare a puny 100cc motorcycles like splendor to a 180cc Apache or a pulsar and still debate oh!!😫😫😥no this splendor is not great nor performance oriented as the 180's..the way you talk reminds me this..(vikas rachamalla)u know how much difference a 80cc bore can make..

Apache RR 310 priced at 2.28 L and Duke 390 priced at 2.98 L in my state (Kerala) Which makes more sense? Long distance travel and touring is my criteria and my height is 193 cms (6ft 3in). Currently I own a Classic 500 and does it make sense to sell it and buy the Duke 390/ RR 310? As mentioned, my criteria is long distance travel and touring.

Its not meant for long distance touring. Ride is too stiff, small ingress will give toll on your spine heating issue also yhere but its much contained than the prevoius gen. But it is t very comfietable. Go fie simething like himalyan, dominar or mojo for simgle cylinder. Twin parralel has lots of option to choose from.

Vikas plz do a review of a new apache rr310 which has been delivered recently...the vibrations are the problem on the 1st and 2nd batch not the recent batches...and 2nd the topspeed is the problem with few bikes...in our state someone clocked 175 with this bike....but not sure about the brakes

sagar aher rr has the most accurate speedo with 98%accuracy unlike bajaj or ktm or yamaha. He himself said in previous video that his friend did 170 kmph. May be he should have shown the top speed recorded

Definitely this particular bike you got have some serious issue. Im not a fanboy i love all kinds of bikes.i own a rr 310 and i doesnt feel any kind of vibration till now.. The first and second batch of rr 310 sold in india have some serious issues with vibrations on handle bars and tank area..these are completely fixed later.. Handle bar vibrations are completely gone when they use bigger handle bar end weights. These issues are only felt with first few batches of the bike.... I got rr of sixth batch. I never felt any issues at all.

Bro, I do own an RR310. The vibrations r not like u said, it's very minimal. Brakes are good enough for normal riding till 120 to 130 kmph. After 140 kmph it's not that confidence inspiring. No one is going to ride continously at those speeds. Even though changing the brake pads can solve the issue. And the top speed I have easily done 165 Kmph. I have reached till 171 Kmph. Not complaining ur review. Just my opinion.

well.. brakes at low speeds are not very effective (initial bite), but at higher speed the brakes offer good bite. It must be calibrated that way. The OEM brake pads are sintered from brembo.

Respect your reviews vikas. What you've said about RR310 is very negative. However we must appreciate the Indian manufacturer TVS for making such an amazing machine instead of praising Ausrtian manufacturer which is way powerful than RR310. RR310 Being a 313 cc motorcycle still packs the punch. Hence you keep comparing it to the Rc390. Sorry but it's disappointing you've said it's only pro is the look. What about the reverse incline engine, best in class aerodynamics etc.. Your comments are very dissappointing. You always end up promoting ktm.

KTM recommends to change piston ring at 50000 km. I have also heard lot of problem in rc as well of duke 390. Heating issue, coolent issue. Crack in the rim. We don't know about the problem that will pop up in rr310 after long term also.

this is a new bike.. 310cc hitting 160km/hr.. n 390 hits 170km/hr.. 390 gt 80cc mre bt the top speed is just 170km.. if u analysezz this way thn apache is quite powerful.. tvs used back torque protection or something instead of slipper clutch.. changing the brake pad vl solve the braking problem..tvs becm yamaha in india..hats off to tvs.. Why i put mre money to buy a 390 which gt a heating issue..stiff suspension...itz nt a practical byk to buy...moreovr ktm also had sme electronic failure in 017 model..

I think you wr paid by KTM or bajaj for making this video. The main disappointment is regarding the brakes what you said. It comes with sintered brake pads and all the reviewers across the country said that rr310 has one of the best brake and the bite is awesome. Now talking about the metre console I agree the fact it looks little awkward but it is packed with features. Are you using a test ride bike?

bhai kabhi time mile to rc 390 ke brakes check karlena, spot on superb, rr ki brakes acchi hai, but rc has wayyy better brakes than this. also, vikas sir has ridden soo many awesome bikes, he judging it with all the bikes.

Wind plays a critical role at high speeds :P I've seen some video of a guy going with the wind AND against it, and he did ~170kmph and ~160kmph respectively.

Nitheesh Senguttuvan The BS4(Euro4) 390 engine feels a little bit more tamed(while accelerating) than its predecessors. I guess maybe they might've changed the fuel mapping(More lean) to accomodate new emission norms...

Good Evening Vikas, i love your critical review on rr310, agreed with the whole review, i have rode this beast for lot of time as my friendly brother owns it, being a Mumbaikar i have clocked 165 kmph despite of having lots of potholes on our road, lol. its matter of time when you get use to it with the brakes tho. Even my brother says Brakes are proggressive but not up to the mark. But i can surely say this beast is way more Premium than any other Bikes incuding KTM, Bajaj etc. It feels like you are on a Fucking Supersport bike. And Keep up that good work Vikas, i am your Fan. Those are clutchless upshifts. It is used to save time to accelerate. And it does not harm the bike.

Apachi rr 310 is just 20k cheaper than RC 390. But in performance it is vary than RC 390. Apachi can't think to even chase the RC

310 rr is very high maintenance drive set it cost is 7000 rs, front break pad it cost rs 2236 front fork lh it cost 14174, front fork rh it cost 13552, muffler it cost 21500 .

crazy roadster what is fanboism here? If you see closely, you can literally see the clutch vibrating. Maybe his bike wasn't so good, it is a new product and it is bound to have faults. Or maybe he is demanding too much from a entry level motor, it is tvs's 1st attempt at a fully faired bike and it is really a decent one.

crazy roadster why on earth will he be jealous of rr310? He owns an r1! It was his honest opinion and people have different expectations with different bikes. Apache struck a fine balance between riding comfort of dominar and extreme posture of rc390. Obviously he is more into superbikes and hence you see an influence of that in his opinion. But left handlebar vibrations could be seen in his video since clutch was vibrating too, and breaks are something which can be highly rectified to your needs by service centres.

I also dropped the plan of buying it only because it was vibrating like hell even on 60kmph. Though the acceleration was decent . But surprisingly I found the brakes to be good and the design is also eye catchy.

Price wise duke 250 2 lack on road duke 390 2.8 lack on road apache rr310 2.4 lack on road Performance wise. Duke 390 43 bhp Duke 250 29.5 bhp Rr310 34.5 bhp So. Apache rr310 = duke 300 for both price and prefoance wise. Maybe tvs should launch apache rr400 at 3 lack on road . That would be real competitor to duke or rc 390. Both looks and performance wise. With very less heating issue, more comfort ,road presence, all rounder capabilities and something different design . duke and rc looks are also very nuce but they are very common on roads. Duke 125 200 250 and 390 all have nearly same design and same with rc 200 and rc 390.

i also own a rr 310 vikas but the vibrations creeps in not as much u said and the brakes are good the abs also works better than dominar and tank vibrations are there but drive a dominar and check out the rr 310 the acceleration will be good and the windshield protection will be better not against u . the bike is cool and i have also clocked 165 km . i took nearly 30 seconds i guess and 0 to 60 in 2.6. seconds. continue your reviewing vikasssss .. and aslo vikas drive a rc 390 in heavy trafic it will get stalled life is not only in highways .. rr 310 manages very well the heat and the fan kick start as soon as the engine starts in rc 390 it is very difficult to live with and the life and the quality wise rc 390 is okay but rr 310 is top notch did u feel the premium vikas. the vertical cluster gives u way good information even better than a super bike

Sai Amrith Domimar is refiend compared to rr310 and has better in gear acceleration and reached 140 faster than rr310. The abs works on domi quite well, ok not the best. It costs only 1.88L on road, offers slipper clutch, spent a ₹k and get a good windshield. Rr310 is very very expensive for 2.6L onroad, it not at all worth this much money. Good luck to you! :)

Bro. But the apache 310 has sintered break pads and that is why they cost over 2k each, front and rear. All the spares are too expensive too..

Hi bro, one small doubt, I bought an new bike apache rtr 200 . In that we can set rpm. By default it has 7000 rpm. But I changed it to maximum 12,000 rpm . So it’s good or bad for my bike.?
