Didn’t she say in earlier seasons that her mom used to run an illegal daycare, and she occasionally took care of the kids. I think it was in the episode were Sheldon was going crazy trying to solve a physics problem (something with graphene) and Bernadette helped him wind down and go to bed, like it was a daycare

Yeah, she did. They should have gone with that a bit more with this story line. They could’ve had her hate the memories of the daycare so much she didn’t like the idea of having her own kids or something.

Yeah, she didn’t want kids at all. She said it in one of the earlier episodes. It makes me sad that they forced this storyline but it did teach me that you shouldn’t have kids if you don’t want them.

@@ghost-bk1fv Pretty sure in this scenario she wouldn't be a "mother living like that" and that's kinda the point :/ Some people just really don't want kids and sometimes accidents happen. That's why abortion and adoption exists; so people who don't want kids aren't forced to be questionable parents to a child they didn't want and likely resent. Just because someone has the time or resources to be a parent doesn't mean they have the mental stability or emotional maturity to be one. Personally, I'd rather someone abort their child or give it up, then keep it and neglect/abuse it, but that's just me I guess :/
