Do you recommend skaters film video their sessions and watch them back to help learn new skills or do you think that novice sksters find that confusing confusing right side left side

Filming yourself is a great way to gauge progress and to see your posture etc. it’s an amazing learning tool and great for motivation too. Looking back to see how far you’ve come is great when you’re feeling unmotivated

On the toe twizzle it looks like no matter which way you turn you are putting down the right toe stop. Am I seeing this correctly? Slightly confused..,which is easy to do;)

Hi. The slow mos in the middle show each foot. Right foot is clockwise and left foot is anti clockwise. It’s such a nice little move. The foot on the outside of the rotation goes down.

Hi. I skate on a roll-line dance plate and a Risport dance boot.

Which toe stops do you use? Would love a video about your background and how you developed all these techniques.

Great idea for the video. These stoppers are roll-line, just their standard stops.

Can toe stop spins be done successfully on bolt-on toe stops? I've only ever seen them on toe stops like yours, and there's a version on jamplugs but it's not the artistic spin cos jamplugs are way too short for that. They have a kind of breakdance version of the "toe stop" spin on their jams. I'm so used to my toe stops that I don't plan to switch them out so their version isn't in the picture for me. I tried but sometimes I feel like there are limitations to the spin part but just need to know if it's the bolt-on stops that are preventing me from going round on them or if your kind of toe stops are the key to this move. I love my plate and trucks, they're metal and the Cushing's are perfect for bending into edges without loosening the trucks in any way, it's just it's a bolt on plate, not an adjustable one.

You might find that the bolt-on toe stop that’s stock on your skate is made of plastic you could try swapping it out for a rubber one. That could make a huge difference as you’re have more grip, bend and flex in the stopper.
