Every few months, i'll find my way back here and play this on repeat for a day or two straight. With every loop, i feel myself sinking deeper into a quagmire of emotions i can only describe as 'not quite bittersweet' and 'not quite nostalgic'. I'm not sure whether it's calming or painful, but I don't think it's both. I can't tell if it's a familiar memory of the past, or if it's a feeling of disassociation from both past and present. I can't tell if it's a reminder of something i've lost, or the realization of something i've never had. I can't tell if time is moving faster or slower. All i know is that each loop has me sinking deeper and deeper, and i should stop. But, it'll be alright.

@@clangon damn man you made me accidentally misrecognize something, though i still believe its pretty similar to a particular NES game that had a real sleepy vibe to it. i'll check out pingus and see about that
