Thank you for your channel & keeping the nomad life grounded in reality. I hit the road June 1st and also had anterior-posterior spinal fusion surgeries about 13 years ago, so I know there will be days/areas where I will have to either take it real easy or avoid altogether, but I am super-excited about my journey! I also have Depression issues(mainly from being in pain 24/7) but when I work on or learn more about hitting the road, it helps my mood so much! Again, thank you & take care!

Just found ur channel through the crater lake videos. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Valentines, haha. I love your little Olive girl. We just lost my 8 yr. old dog to a hunter's trap. She loved to hunt and got away from me up here in northern Mn where I decided to stick it out on my property. I still have her son, Zoomer who is three now and we both miss her terribly. I have been on the road for some time now and spent the last two years traveling from Minn. to Texas and back and New Mexico and back but covid put a crimp in it. I spent 10 weeks in the woods up here last summer and now with this brutal cold ended up in a shelter. I literally just got the news that a local campground can accept me and the shelter will cover most of it for a few months. I'm crying. I fell and cracked my ribs and it was just too much for me but it seems like help has been pouring in from all sides in lots of ways. I was purposely living a simple survival level living with just the basics in my hunting shack to be ready for a time such as we're living in. 35 below is dangerous though but look at the rest of the country now living in survival mode for a bit too. I have been out west in many places over the years and love the nomad life. It definitely is getting trickier, but I've been to some pretty awesome sites and met a lot of good people. I appreciate what you're sharing and look forward to watching more of your treks. Give Olive a little hug from Zoomer and I and stay safe my friend.

It does look great there. Such a nice treat right after the holidays. I'm guessing you will be in touch soon. Olive will take care of herself. It may or may not be of your liking. I don't know how I'd react to such a crowd either. It would probably be like fingernails on a chalk board. The quiet people are sort of at the mercy of the louder folks. You have the best idea of just taking care of yourself and disappearing when you need to. At any rate ... Enjoy your days of wandering. Blessings

Happy & Healthy 2021 to y'all! A small group of friends, during the holidays, is the best whether it be during a regular or pandemic year. I'm sorry to hear about your van's reoccurring problems! It sounds like the only 2 new-ish (demos) vehicles I ever had. When the warranty expired I started having problems😡. Best of luck for its healthy return to the road🙋‍♀️

Maybe the road got worse since they were there last? I am sorry about the van problems. It is better to be near friends in case the vehicle break's. You never know when they will suddenly break down. A different road sure makes a difference.

OK Jimmy you won't like this but her it come. The Dodge Promaster has the worst reliability of any van. It will continue to get worse. If you can you should trade it for a chevy express. I have an express and it is awsume reliable. Our great founding nomadic father Bob Wells has stated this several times.

Dodge/Plymouth vans have been gone for many years. He has basically a re-badged Fiat Ducato.
