This bowl is so gorgeous !! Swamp bowl is a great name for it. The bubbles look like they’re supposed to be there. The colors are perfect 😍 !!As a child we lived on a farm & had a pond -that’s what this reminds me of. Thank you Claire

Yes. A pond. We don't have swamps where I live. What a beautiful bowl. ❤

The micro bubbles really make the bowl look like it's a bond and I love it! I love those colors too!

Claire, this is just stunning! I love your end result! Don't sweat the bubbles. If you've ever seen aquariums full of plants in a pet shop, they have masses of bubbles. I would imagine that a swamp or pond bottom wouldn't be any different, especially with the gasses from old and dead vegetation rising up. This looks so real that it's just amazing. Thanks for another great video.

Only thing I’ll add is that here in Florida we mainly, like 95%, have alligators 🐊 not crocodiles 😉 But with that said, recently crocodiles have made a small comeback. Great video and definitely reminds me of our gorgeous fresh water springs.

Beautiful work this bowl looks amazing besides the beautiful waters of Florida which you would love it also has the beautiful country side of the streams along the northern & southern states. You would love the amazing scenery of America, there is so much beauty all over.

I love this so so much! You nailed it by calling it the pond bowl. It reminds me of walking in the woods and seeing ponds with leaves and this effect with algae. I find the colors in nature are so vivid and soothing....and this effect takes me to that "place". Thank you - this vid is a gift. I'm all calm.

The bowl is gorgeous!! The bubbles remind me of fish swimming nearby or just bubbles naturally popping to the surface so they don’t detract from the finished piece. The colours are so beautiful & work perfectly together as well.

This makes me think of the pond in front of my parents house! I adore it! Always dip your leaves first darlin 😂 it'll be so much easier then doing patch work! I am so glad to see you using colour! It's so therapeutic! You need to try the purely pigments they are incredible! True artists colour! Mica is simply a spray painted mica rock ground down into a powder but resin arte is an artist colour with mica added into it. Colourarte has the most amazing resin products and you are a leader in our community I think you really need to consider trying them out!

Hi Claire! This bowl is stunning! 🤩🤩🤩 All those beautiful colours! The Ginkgo Biloba’s leaves look so perfect there! This just went really high on my top creations by Claire list. I love everything about this - although I was kinda worried when you put the leaves in the mold dry, that something like those bald spots might happen. I've never used alcohol inks, but this is so my aesthetic. I just made my first resin castings of the year today, now that the weather is warmer. I'm dying to go back to my workspace and dunk all my dried plants from last summer into resin - but none of my molds are this big. Plus, it's almost bedtime.

You need some transparent decals for the outside. Pondlife type animals: fish, frogs, etc. Edited to add, because I realized I hadn’t: I do love this result! It’s totally my aesthetic!

Claire, could you do a video on the tools you use and how you clean up after working with epoxy resin? I’ve never seen any instructions on this and I don’t know whether it’s okay to use regular bowls and jugs etc or whether you use throwaway containers. If you can re-use things, then how do you clean them? I’d really appreciate some basic practical info but I realise it won’t be as exciting or as fun as your usual videos.

heyyyyyy lovely - I made this video years ago - it might help :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZ7LpJ2Adt5rn7csi=R6GugK2QOcVm7mMP As for containers - I would only ever use silicone cups or plastic cups. Regular bowls no - glass no xxx
