Disney will likely do a "classic" She-Hulk in the next year or so. They've done risque marvel legends before (see Psylocke, Red She-Hulk, and last summer's White and Black Queens). The leotard won't cut all the way up to her navel and she won't have breasts the size of her head, but you'll get "classic" She-Hulk

I completely forgot that I had the Crystar action figure as a child until you mentioned it. He was one of my first action figures ever. He was really cool actually. All of the figures included these little magnifying glass/ kaleidoscope type accessories. When you held it up to your eye and looked through, it made everything that you looked at appear as if it were made of crystals. What child wouldn't go bonkers for that accessory??? The figure was this translucent turquoise blue. He came with a crystal sword and helmet with red Cap like wings on the side. Awesome!! Thanks for that memory.

Another one shot character that we will never see is a villain named Smokescreen, he was created as a villain for the trio of Spider-Man, Power-Man,and Storm for an anti-smoking one shot, but I thought that was cool when I was a kid, but it’s unlikely we will ever see a Marvel Legend villain that promotes smoking

In the case of Crystar it's not at all complicated. It seems complicated because Crystar figures were made by Remco in the 80's, but the character is owned by Marvel and has shown up briefly in some other big event comics. The deal for Remco to make figures is long since gone so it's entirely possible for a Marvel Legend to get made, but I'm probably in the small amount of people that wants one.

I agree with most of these, if I were to say there are figures we're unlikely to see or see again are figures from the 80's and 90's marvel movies, certain marvel legacy movies that had poor reception such as wolverine origins, and the various marvel shows that came out prior to disney plus. I disagree with classic suit she hulk being unlikely because we've already gotten one in somewhat recent hasbro times as well as a version of her in her fantastic four outfit, on top of that they made the hellfire club box set with Emma Frost and the Black Queen, both of whom who are in more sexual outfits than she hulk. I think Mephisto is possible to be made but it would probably be as a convention exclusive or a fan channel exclusive so stores such as target don't need to be afraid of getting bad press for selling toys of the devil. That just reminded me that david and Satana Hellstrom are in the same area as mephisto since the two are the children of the devil.

Have to agree with much of these, I've argued in the past that it's unlikely we'll see a Mephisto figure from Marvel Legends because of the iconography associated with him, but over time, I'm beginning to think it's more and more likely. With She-Hulk the issue is really about how much they can re-use the buck if the make one, I know there is an argument to be made that they are avoiding sexualizing, but when it's just paint(vs their old black cat figure) they can spread the paint out more to cover more, it's just a matter of how many figures they think they can make with a She-Hulk "swimsuit" buck.... and it boils down to 3 versions of She-Hulk, maybe a couple of female wrestler style figures (from the Unlimited Class Wrestling league or whatever it was called) and maybe a couple of others, so I do think that is very possible, they'll do the FF She-Hulk first, and maybe make the outfit you like later on. Rom might be something they are holding back on, but I do not think Santa Claus is actually not out of the realm of possibility. Star Fox is such a good looking costume, it's a shame that he probably will never be made, but the creep factor of his power is probably not something they will ever do, if he was a villain, then sure, but having that power and being a "hero" just doesn't work. Micronauts is another license that wasn't mentioned, but has issues for many of the same reason as Rom and others. Death's Head has been made, but it was a work around, the version they made was after they rebuilt him, and due to that it created some loophole for licensing. (For a while they had issues with making a Deathlok figure for similar reasons, which is why they revamped his origin... at least in the comics, not sure about the toy licensing)

I'd totally love a Cardiac. He was such an underappreciated "villian". I remember the big last comic of the "Lifetheft / Peter Parker Parent Saga" that had the Cardiac mini-story where he hunts down the guy selling the medical device that prolonged usage of caused extreme early-onset Alzhiemer's. I remember he wasn't planning to kill the man, just make sure he didn't sell the device. Cardiac was a doctor, and it was pretty awesome to see a "villian" / anti-hero who would refuse to kill anyone unless there was no other way to deal with them.

While I'm at it: it's very unlikley that Cable, Deadpool and X-Force were renamed due to any rights/royalties with Rob Liefed (also Soldier X WAS supposed to be Cable and Agent X only became not-Deadpool through retcon) becasue they weren't paying him any at the time. Rom was a toy that Marvel built a comic series around. Marvel DOES NOT own the character rights. However, they literally own everything else from his comics, The Dire Wraiths, the Space Knights of Galador, etc. So we still see those characters, but ROM is gone.

Ok: Miracleman is just the U.S. name Eclipse Comics gave Quality Communications' Marvelman strip to prevent Marvel getting up thier arse. Marvelman is just a re-imaging of the original L. Miller & Son, Ltd. Marvelman from the 1950s - both the 80's Quality Communications/Eclipse/Moore/Gaiman Miracleman and the original 50s Marvelman are the same thing owned by the same person - which turned out to be his creator Mick Anglo. That wasn't found out until after Quality Com, Eclipse and McFarlane had all published Miracleman stories and years of copyright ownership debates by the people who worked on the 80's strip. Marvel bought the rights from Marvelman from Anglo and with that got all of the Marvelman comics except the appearances in Hellspawn. Marvelman is NOT tied up with any rights when it comes to Shazam, he was created to replace the character when Fawcett Comics stopped making Captain Marvel comics (Shazzy was very popular in the UK and So as Marvel owns the whole thing lock, stock and kimota then I'd say it was very likley Hasbro could make a Marvel Legend of Marvelman/Miracleman. But I'd imagine it'd be a SDCC item or something.

Im happy to report that here we are in 2024. Mephisto hasn’t been made but Son of Satan is on deck. Meanwhile Rom, Crystarr amd Death’s Head have all made it through! We even got a new She Hulk albeit not in that outfit. Here’s hoping Starfox, Cardiac and Mephisto break free from this list as well.

They only released 4 villains, and 4 good guys with a prince dargon variant, and there’s also a green variant of mantor who is also a good guy that’s green, his original name was mantys but they got sued by someone (I forget who) so they changed the name and color! Not sure how many were made of the green mantys version

The line was called Legendary Heroes. Savage Dragon, Witchblade, Darkness, Marvel, Wildman, Judge Dredd and others made up two waves with Pitt and Monkeyman as the Bafs. There were two different 2 packs. One had Conan vs the black knight you mentioned.

Not my style to flex, but I have a mint-on-card 3.75in Marvel Universe figure of She-Hulk sporting that purple and white costume. I don't think it looks that risqué. Phoenix Five Emma Frost is way WAY spicier! I wonder, in today's socio-political climate, what are the odds of seeing the Purifiers in action figure form...

It seems like we'll NEVER get some of the Marvel heroes that I would like to see.... but we would have to go back farther in time than you go. I would think we'll never get ... Rick Jones... an Incredible HULK main-stay ... in the early days of The HULK. Another: the Golden Age All-Winners Squad members... The Human Torch, Toro, The Whizzer, and Miss America. ... Stan's first hero... THE DESTROYER,... and probably never ... Simon & Kirby's G.A. ...The Vision... To me, ... these are far more important to the foundation of the Marvel Universe ... than ANY of your heroes of the '90's. We won't get them ... because of the fans of today ... like you... don't remember or care for all those Great Golden Age Characters that laid that Foundation. ... And I think we are all poorer for it.!!

Hasbro did a 3 3/4" ROM Spaceknight figure as part of a 5 (or 7?) SDCC EXCLUSIVE with a few GI Joe, Micronaut and Visionaries characters... BUT we need a ROM 6" Marvel Legends figure and a Wraith BAF... AND a Brood 2pk with a Brood Queen BAF to fight the X-Men... I HAVE the Toybiz ML SHE-HULK in that iconic purple & white, BUT they REALLY need to STOP acting like woke BITCHES and update that figure, THEN do the inevitable FF costume repaint of the figure/character, AND THEN using the current SHE-HULK upper torso arms & head(s), with the torn shirt, use the (would be) new lower torso and legs with current version bare feet (right?🤔), and new sculpted torn skirt piece to create FIRST APPEARANCE SAVAGE SHE-HULK in her white mini-dress look... With alternate sets of hands and heads, because WHY THE HELL NOT, MAN...!! And Cardiac! YES!! Been wanting him for my Spidey-verse line-up for awhile now... (Might have to put my ML Spawn custom on hold and do up a Nightwatch custom, as well... Easy to do, parts-wise, really... Just use a Prowler head (NOT that gimpy looking, new, "Into the Spider-verse" Prowler head that looks like a constipated Grimmace/grape gumdrop), a Dr. Strange (or similar cloak/cape), and a basic black buck, such as Cloak or Venom, etc., and some paint for the detailing... And BAM!! There ya go... Nightwatch. Easier than Spawn because NO spikes/chains, and no weird asymmetrical boot issues... SOME of those figures I think we actually ARE likely to see eventually, just because Marvel has opted for some really obscure unexpected figures/characters in recent years. Personally, I'd like to see a BATTLESTAR figure to go with Cap, Falcon or Silver Sable, along with Finback and Man-Eater, and the rest of Sable's Wild Pack... Another good one would be Ursa Major (though he could be the BAF of the Darkstar wave... Maybe), a proper BOX w/ Madison Jeffries human figure for Alpha Flight (though I removed the shoulder pads from the Crimson Dynamo BAF and used him as my BOX figure), a proper Crimson Dynamo (and Titanium Man BAF)... Well, better stop there because now I'm just getting into a most wanted list, and I haven't even been able to get those damn TARGET EXCLUSIVE Rogue & Gambit figures yet... But THAT'S another rant altogether! Good list, Dave! (Wouldn't a "Dark Claw Wolverine" be cool though...!!)😁

HAHAHA I don't know what kind of crazy people you're hanging out with? But the whole issue with cardiac and Eric Larson? That's why image comic started in the first place. McFarland started his own company and took Marvel's number one animators so that they would have artistic license for the figures that they created and would be able to profit directly from those figures being sold as comic books and toys. Eric Larson created Savage dragon Jim Lee created the wildcats Todd himself created Spawn and Rob liefeld created something called supreme. Who was like a Superman. There were lots of comics back then that wound up being horrible. The worst one I remember is one called silverhawk. I still have a few issues of the number one for that book. Secondly, they did come out with a Marvel Legends Conan figure. Right before Toybiz went out of business. At the time they were releasing their best figures which were the Marvel Legends face off two packs there was one for Conan and a character named Wraal. (That might be spelled wrong) but I know it is another set of figures I have in my garage still MIB. I also seem to remember a Marvel select She-Hulk in that costume combination that you were talking about. I believe she was holding a car over her head and there was smoke that held the car up in the air above her. once again another figure I know I have in the garage. I might be in the minority, but there is one figure I would love to see them make and they probably never will though. As odd as it may sound I would love to see a Bill Bixby..

HAHAHA Yes sometimes I have the tendency to babble. I always tell people that I'm half babler on my father's side. But it always helped when I was writing essays in school. I feel like I remember seeing that, that video game existed. But yes since it was never released. I must have never actually played it. Although for some reason in my head I can see the character running along rooftops. When I send this response off I will check on KZbin to see if I could find the game there like you suggested. I'm a little bit older than you are. So I literally had the first Atari when I was a kid. Then as the years progressed I upgraded on systems. But found that once they came out with a PlayStation. There was no need for me to ever buy another type of gaming system again. I just upgraded with the company through the years.
