Dude!! Gore-tex ain’t going to stop dirt🤷‍♂️ never did. Not designed for that purpose. Made to keep your feet dry!! And a better test is to put water in the sink and let the shoes sit in it over night then you’ll see how good the water proofing really is. Like watching your reviews by the way.

Leaving the shoes in water isn't necessary for the test because that's not what they were built for and who stands in water that long anyway?

These are a total Buy 💯💥💥💥I would definitely return them for one shoe being dirty out the box, don't care about a boxy toe box, the infrared colourway is always a must have. One tweak is the tongue to liner attachment, if the raised that further to the below the black eyelet, these would have been even more water resistant for those heavy UK downpours. As always Broski fair review, don't do a side by side review though, as personally let's keep the radiant red OGs on a separate level from these. Godd luck with all the unboxing 🙄👌🤣💯💥💥💥

I've seen these in store a few days ago and tried them on because I regret selling my infrareds but unfortunately these arent a proper replacement. Toebox shape looks very bad and they feel super stiff on feet

For a £165 you would have though they would have gusseted the tounge and if the tounge wasn't waterproof it'll just wick water into the shoe. Once the water is in the goretex liner just turns them into a bucket keeping the water in.

I agree ..... my air max 90 gortex look super dirty and only had them a week, the non-gortex 90 air max seem a lot easier to clean, these seem to kind of trap the dirt and are impossible to clean

Read a lot of reviews about tightness in sizing so went half a size up, best decision. GTX is narrower than typical AM90 and a bit more so than AM90 'bacon' leather. Quite impressed actually, have used it on a heavy downpour here in Oz with a lot of water run-offs, kept my feet dry.👍👍💯% thumbs up here.

Only waterproof 90s are the Sneaker-Boots. I bought two of the 90 Infrared Sneaker-Boots on release. One belted and worn to the hill. One waiting till I cannot resist the siren call to my feet.

Not as bad as yours but the right shoe had feint marks on the light grey material at the front of the toe and the left has marks on the inside of the ankle collar. Luckily, I was able to remove the marks on the toe.

It’s a good idea as is it annoys me when I open my boot on my car when it’s raining & water falls on my sneakers & water comes through or you walk over a loose paving & it splashes on you shoes & goes through. The area that is waterproof is actually the part I need to be. Sometimes I walk the dog and thennnn... Like half a lake on the path. And then I need to be able to be like 2-3 cm deep. Size is difficult.. Jordan retros I usually size down to a 42. My true size works in Nike, 42,5 but I have a pair of 90 that feels extra small or something at 42,5 Stores near me dont sell this

Goretex is great tech for spring, autumn and mild winter. Beside waterproofing it is a little bit more insulated, because gtx is not as breathable. However that nylon like material will get super dirty very fast and making it white just adds to the problem. Your test on waterproofing is sort of pointless, because it beads of because of treatment which is probably some kind of nano-proof spray, gtx material itself is inside the shoe and it protects your feet if water seeps in through leather and that nylon. Beautiful sneaker, but this collab is kinda pointless
