I had severe vision issues with -15 D in both eyes, affecting my IT career aspirations. Specs hindered my 10-15 hour screen time. I consulted Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary at Eye 7 Hospitals and opted for ICL as I wasn't eligible for LASIK. I'm really happy with the results and the hospital is great.

I have got my ICL surgery 2020 and my number was -7 and -8 for both eyes along with I also had cylindrical. I faced halos for the next 6 motnhs, and everything was super-sharp for about a year. Now the halos are gone, I can drive easily at night, just that if somebody puts high beam you will experience the halos. I don’t even have the problem that Sunraybee is stating about the subtitles, i guess after sometime it will also go away. It is life changing and I haven’t faced any side effects so far.

@@sahilswan I think they use the names Silk and Smile interchangeably, but I am not sure. Even he has said that both procedures are the same. I got it done at Eye 7. I was recommended Contoura and Silk Pro (not Silk, but a better version of Silk) because I had a cylindrical number (-1.00) in addition to -5.00 in both eyes. I got my surgery done by Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary for 1.25 lacs.

Hy I have undergone my first Icl surgery on 21 sep in my right eye but after few days it got displaced still I think that it will be due to recent operation that's why but I was totally wrong because when I undergone icl in my left eye it was absolutely perfect but as you have said I still see halos and rings around my eyes as well as in front or side of other objects. After that when I went through my 2 operation on 2 oct my right vision was absolitely perfect but near about 3 months my right lens again got displaced I was totally shattered and depressed at that time now I am going to operate my right eye for third time so that's why if you don't have high myopia I suggest you to not undergo any type of surgery without full details do check each and every detail of the hospital as well as the success rate of that surgery.
