Actually you can really be informed about history, culture and geography of the Castle in the Museum you didn't enter. Also you can learn about the legend of the Castle. Those underground tunels you said were used to go down to the river. The wells were to get water from underground. Also about the bombings you said, the Caslte was bombed heavily by Montenegrin forces in the First Balkan War in 1912.

What happened, is 4,000 years of history. They fought Romans, Turks, Serbs , Montenegrians. 1478 The Castle was destroyed by Sultan Mehmet Fatih. You dont showed interest on Museum! Its where you get information! Albanian Castles are much older than French ones. This one predates Roman Empire. Seen many battles . You should visited the Museum in the Castle you missed out.

Yes. You nailed it. In so many cases, it really helps to do just a little research online the night BEFORE you go somewhere so that you know both the history as well as what to expect when you get there. Even to familiarize yourself with the construction of castles overall so that your videos don't show you saying things like, "wonder what this was" while your viewing audience is more knowing than you. Show some respect to you audience so that it appears you have attempted a modicum of research before you go.

The Castle wasn't really destroyed from the Ottomans, more from the Montenegrins and Serbs.

Without history the place mean nothing and without mistakes we will never learn and grow. I like history everyone tell a different story from different prospective and we believe that we can never know the full truth. But a bite of history is always nice and adds a lot a lot of value to our experience.
