Always enjoy your videos. Can relate with you as we consider ourselves tourists and not campers. The covered wagon you guys saw imagining what it was like back in the day reminded me of a story about my great grandmother and my grandmother as a child. Hey , on that actuator a k a landing gear. You need to find your pump and the valve that sends all the fluid to each actuator and give each fitting a little tightening with a wrench. With all the vibration from driving, they can loosen up and leak.It looks like you may have air in your system. Also one thing, I always do is take a can of WD40 and a good towel and spray down the shiny part of the actuator and clean them off before I retract my landing gear.

I like your channel. My wife and I have had 35:43 all sorts of R.V.,s. We now have an older used airstream 30 foot gas R.V. with all the diesel problems in CA as you know we had to get rid of the diesel pusher. One big thing is there was way too many fixit problems it was so stressful . We considered full time but the problems alone was a wake up call for us. I wish we could full time but the problem we had is the ridiculous depreciation plus the new R.V.,s are too expensive. I guess you’ve learned to deal with it. Yeah you’re right about sketchy R.V. places. They are getting way expensive and the good ones are full at the better times of the year. You guys having two residences is tempting but what can you expect to pat for those two casitas. Palm Springs is awesome in the winter. What are the costs to buy in Michigan. Sounds cool. A trailer is a good option as you can take a lot more stuff. We have flat towed but I’m always paranoid about flat tires with 4 down. You can literally drag the car for quite a while TPM.s are a good safety thing for that. Having said that there are very few cars that can be actually rated for long distance towing. We have a Honda fit. No problems with that one plus it’s lighter. However Honda quit making that one so your stuck searching for a used one. We have a 2017. I think they made them for 2 more years. Ours has a manual 6 speed. Take care. Todd and Anne

Awesome to see a new Fuel Your Wander video! Keep them coming especially with the super star Axle! Wouldn't adding a trailer be adding more potential for new problems...and you are looking for no problems, plus the added time and effort to load up? Don't most EV's have air ride suspension also? Just watched a CarWow video yesterday on the top 10 most reliable cars, and I think 3 of them had suspension issues too. How was your previous Jeep for problems?

That motor home is a beautiful unit, BUT, A TT is the way to go ... not as much to worry about...
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
TTs do have some advantages - including lots of space.

Try a Toyota tacoma. Some are flat towable.
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
None that I have seen are flat towable.

Toyotas are way better than your Jeep. Jeep has changed hands multiple times in the past 20 years. My brother loves his 95 wrangler but newer ones have lots of issues, especially electrical. We tow a 2003 Saturn Ion quad coup and we've bought a 2014 Honda CRV(Last year they were flat towable), to replace the Saturn when it does. Lol Your RV is beautiful. Safe travels.
@jlwrycha10892 ай бұрын
There aren’t any new Toyotas that are flat towable currently. In fact, you are very limited on the car models that are flat towable.
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yeah unfortunately Toyotas are not flat towable. It's a shame because we agree that the quality is much better. We have a few months to decide since it'll take a while to get through this lemon law process

If you guys are spending enough to geta trackhawk cherokee might as well get a more nicer german suv like a merc gle or bmw x5 or go for a much more reliable suvfrom something like a toyota but one thing is for sure that you guys need a trailer otherwise ur cars are gonna keep getting damaged
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
Its a trailhawk, not a trackhawk.

Just for record buddy any vehicle you drive you look at the gas gauge it will show you which side is your gas tank just a little tip👍
@fuelyourwanderАй бұрын
We can fill up our RV on either side.

Seems like a bus with no slide outs & couch might be easier to deal with.
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
Definitely easier for traveling! But harder to live in full time with less space

Curious, what do you need a trailer for? Would you tow that instead of a vehicle?
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
Exactly. If we had a trailer we could own any vehicle and just park it on the trailer. Most vehicles cannot be flat towed, so it limits your choice of vehicles.
@usmcshepherdE92 ай бұрын
@@fuelyourwandernice thing about a trailer as well is that you can backup with vehicle on a trailer where you obviously can’t do that with your flat toad, plus you dont have the wear and tear on your tow vehicle!

You pronounced Ogallala correctly. Next time you're in Nebraska, get a Runza. Everyone needs to try one once. They are excellent.

👍It’s a tough one to pronounce! Runza.. It looks delightful! I could use one right now for breakfast. 😀

I'm looking at a couple of coaches, 1 with 450hp the other with 605hp. How is your 450 in the mountains. I know your not pulling anything right now but even a 3200# car would be noticable. What is your opinion please.
@fuelyourwander2 ай бұрын
We have the 605hp and one of the main reasons we bought our American Coach I is it came standard. When pulling our Jeep, it does great through the mountains. Had a stacker trailer before and it pulled that with no issues. If you’re looking at a 45’ Coach, highly recommend getting the 605. The 450 is not enough power in my opinion for that size vehicle
