I have the WC versions and it’s a great boot, wide fit, true to size, and great heel liner. Only complaint is that I noticed the lockdown isnt top notch on the low cut due to I believe how the lacing is angled. Overall great boot for all foot shapes

Thank you, this comment is the reason I got these cleats. My feet are on the wider side, so I often have trouble finding comfortable cleats. This shoe seems to be very good for different feet sizes by the reviews I’ve seen

For anyone interested in knowing, I had about a 15g difference in weight between the DF and low-cut version (both FG)

so basically no noticeable difference right, no one someone can tell apart a 15 gram difference.

@@gausly1032 no for sure, not noticeable on feet. I chose based on if I wanted the ghost lacing system or not. And in my case, I have very wide feet and wanted the ability to adjust my laces more easily. The lace cover made loosening my laces very difficult, which could become an issue if they were too tight. No regrets at all, the low-cut model is fantastic and I'd highly recommend it, especially for people with wide feet.

Got these in low cut with an AG sole. I really rate these. i'd say best boot of 2023. the grip tech really works. ive found i can get loads of top spin dip on passes and shots. even predators with demon skin couldnt do that for me. only thing i dont like is theyre a little bit too long in the toe. im hoping to see GX tech on Tiempos. if Nike did that they'd kill off the predator line for adidas.

The only bad thing is that its rlly hard to put on and take off, i had to have a friend to pull it out for me. But like ye, its rlly good

the twist is cause people like depay i think hate the pull tab and how it digs into the front of your ankle or lower shin and so they offset it which might look a little weird but is actually really good

I still have the Phantom VSN Elite DF AGs and have some really seriously wide feet. I have bought and tried so many boots and the quadfit and upper make it such a great and comfortable boot. Might give this a try and see how it compares. I did recently get a pair of Rebula Cup MIJs second hand and wearing those in and they might actually be the ones...

Trust me these will fit you, I have the same problem and also only found comfort in the boots you mentioned. I just bought the Phantom GX in half a size up than I usually wear and they fit me perfectly, I'd say even more comfortable than the VSN's

Not at all. There isn't a difference because the construction is almost identical. If anything, the way the lacing system works on the lows arguably holds the upper a little more securely, but to say that the lows have better lockdown is tough. They're pretty well exactly the same 👍

Where do these designs come from? This is not a dig at Nike, it's just an observation that applies to all brands. These boots for example...Why do they have a double swoosh? Why do they have that weird-shaped blue patch on the upper (but I could also mention the zigzagging tape on the Pumas, or the nonsensical patterns on Adidas boots, etc.)? I'm sure they carry out thorough market research beforehand to gauge what people (kids) like, but honestly....Is that what people like?

I've had the exact same observation as well. It's hard to find a nice looking boot nowadays, without all of those weird ugly shapes and color mixes.. The GT lookes nice, but their fit was very bad, I wish they released something similar in style but with the GX tech.

Hello Josh, long time watcher. Tha js for the great videos. Unfortunately, I am a dumbass and bought these cleats a half size bigger than i normally wear because i have had to do it in the past models. Just curious if you have any tricks to eat up space in thr toe area. I already used them in a game and now i cant return them because there is some black stains from our field turf. I might try buying a dr soles insole and cut out the heel and put it under my insoles. Thanks for any help from anyone. I wont make the mistake of not taking yhr advice of a guy who has tried on 100s of cleats again.

You could try wearing two pairs of sock’s, I bought a pair of phantom gt df a couple of years ago that were a half size up. I wore a regular pair of socks and then put my grip socks on top of them, it made a huge difference compared to when I only wore one pair. The lockdown, fitting and traction issues were gone completely and felt as though the boots were the correct size.

These are worse in my opinion, the lacing system is difficult to reach and the boots are difficult to get on and off, the laces run further then the knit portion and actually also run a fair bit under the grip knit. The lower lace positions are impossible to reach and tighten/lose. I’d rather run them laceless, which works better then I excpected. Just buy the low cut, they’re cheaper and don’t take 30 min to put on.

The DF collar and the lace cover just adds unnecessary bulk and material that doesn’t need to be there. Low cut Phantom GX all the way when given the choice.
