I grew up in Farmington and will always love it there. We visited Northville as a family quite a bit when I was growing up and I've done a lot of business over the years there as well. It really is a wonderful little city and I still frequent the area on a regular basis, either going to the downtown area or over to Maybury Park.

My Dad's home town. My Dad always said that if it wasn't for horses and whores, there wouldn't be a Northville.

I've done a lot of carpentry work in Northville. Lived there for a while also. Some very cool houses there.

There definitely are, some of the turn of the century downtown Northville homes are beautiful. As a carpenter some of them must be harder to work on than newer homes.

wow, unique shot of hillside at 0:22!! super cool as they had just torn down the old building. love of the history of northville(especially hillside and the high school), and mill race is amazing too!

@@MsKittie great question. In Northville the primary methods of transportation is walking or biking if you live close enough to downtown. To get elsewhere car is the most predominant followed by the smart bus system, Uber & cab

You should do a video of South Lyon. It once was the biggest horse town in the country. 👊🏼

South Lyon is definitely on the list. It’s grown so much over the last 20 years & love going to Erwins!

downtown and school was major reason why I bought home in 2021. Downtown also does live music show in weekends during summer time.

It's such a great town and I love the live music on the weekends. Every Friday and Saturday 7 to 9pm! (From Memorial Day to Labor Day) for every one that sees this and are looking for details

Love their downtown! My father in law worked as the chief arson investigator of Northville until he retired, great place to live and work!

Hello John, thank you for the reach out. I think for some families needs Northville schools aren’t a grad for and for some they work very well for their needs. There are several private options also in And around Northville also. Location wise Northville does have a ton of options to find the right schools of the district doesn’t fill the need.
