You know the best part of your videos.... the tone of it... its like you are trying hard not to laugh but at certain moments are in genuine pain but still close to laughing. Highlight of the video the 'demoralising' knight fork that loses a queen if he takes your rook... 100% The joy over the ending checkmate was also quite good.... I also love your commentary like "we go here because we are worried about something that probably isn't there"... Thanks for the video man.

With the exception of the missed discovered queen attack, your games are getting a bit better. You seem to be calculating in the right places more often as opposed to calculating something else while completely missing the obvious moves. I see some improvement. There were multiple times that you calculated the same things I did while watching.

I had one of these recently. I gave away my queen intentionally because of the sheer destruction i caused to my opponent. I didn't want them to resign so quickly. I ended up check-mating with a pawn. All the disrespect. But i had to do it because i was bored of mating with the heavy pieces. I kept the bishop pair and promoted another pawn to a knight to make it happen
@TyIerTheCreatorLover2 ай бұрын
There is one opening you should learn idk what it’s called but I call it “like how did you know see that” opening it goes like this. (As white) kings pawn d3 the opponent does the same you move your queen to h5, opponent attacks with g6 and you go in for the final attack queen to e5. He protect with either bishop or queen, and you take the unprotected rook on h8 I love to use this one when I play against my dad he never sees it. Btw I love your vids I’m myself struggling to get any higher than 900.

3:08 he had knight takes f7 and one rook will go down,because your bishop is pinned and in 5:05 you don't have a good position, queen e5 just hang a rook too, he had bishop f4 pinning the queen to the rook

6:54 also if you just let him catpure your rook with the knight youd at least get a piece back (the knight) instead of just a pawn

If I can explain a proper fork. It's not called a fork just because it attacks two pieces. It's called a fork because no matter what your opponent does, you are going to gain material. So when you say FORK! please make sure it's actually a fork. otherwise it's just a regular move. or could be a different scenario... you're welcome on the free chess lesson from an actual chess instructor. well I'm certified but I have no students. 😅

I have 1100 in rapid and the difference is I make less mistake when I'm calculating (still I do a lot of them but less). This can be improved by doing puzzles and I have a little better positional understanding. Sometimes I see you are ruining pawn structure for no reason, so you need to think more about your pawns, but in general my reasoning is very similar. your moves are mostly logical and in general I think difference is not that high. Just do more puzzles and think about your pawns and you will get 1100 soon.
