Great explanation. I’ve realised this, i need to use decentralized services and have my money in control on blockchain. We have Uniswap for token swap, Foxify for futures trading for example. Absolutely no need for external risk every CEX can potentially cause!

2:38 this is currently the case with banks. Banks can do with your money whatever they like, and they do, even locking you out is one of their options and this happens way too often.

Hello Whiteboard Crypto. I wasn't sure how to reach out to you as I'm not on social media so I thought this video may appy to my question. I recently tried to aquire my private keys by withdrawing my BTC from the exchange to a wallet address. The amount was $30 as a test and the fee estimated by the exchange was a mere $1.18, however I only received an amount of $22.75 a half hour later. Now I'm concerned about "network fees" that I may incure taking possession of my remaining keys. Part of the benefit of removing centralization is the ridiculous fees.

Wow, another great video... It sounds like storing it in centralised exchanges are risky. With USB stick, what is the risk of Usb stick becoming broke/corrupted and inaccessible? It is a simple storage media

Your crypto are not in the USB stick. You can just import them somewhere else as long as you have the seed phrase to recover them

I would never use meta mask or Ledger. Ledger has had breeches. The safest way is a trezor wallet. It’s offline storage. It’s truly unhackable as long as the person only has their own keys
