I love watching you and chatting. I had chores to catch up on today as hubby and I had to go for his appointment yesterday, then we did our monthly stock up on groceries at Costco and Walmart. Tomorrow I have a hair appointment. So that is the extent of our travels. You sound so much better with being able to travel with your family. That is great that it only costs gas money! This journal is so pretty!! I tend to put up journals in various stages (to protect them) and then forget about them, too! 😂 I am a messy crafter. I have bits, bobs, and globs everywhere, and my desk looks like a hurricane hit it, then turned around, and hit it again! 😳 😂😅😂 It’s a nightmare this week. We live with our daughter now. We were living in the basement, but she decided she wanted us closer to the bathroom, so we didn't have to climb 2 flights of stairs, so we moved up to the top floor and she moved to the basement. I've been in the middle of packing, moving and unpacking. My crafting supplies are everywhere! LOL😂😊😢 Have fun this weekend! ❤😊

Usually my work days are all about the hustle and bustle getting up at 5 am M-F. Now I'm thinking about these things: 👙🩱📔🖌️🖍️🏷️💌🩴👒🧳🍧🏊🏿‍♀️. Hi Miss E. I’ve been working on some note pads for my great grandson’s Santa workshop. I’m using some of your Christmas jars for the fronts. I’ve also made some grocery List sheets. Covered the backs with card stock. I also covered some 3x5 paper pads with printed paper and contact paper to make notepads. I made 14 Christmas jar note pads, 9 grocery list pads, 6 covered notepads. Our weather here in Michigan is cooling off. We’ve had over 90 weather last week now it’s 76. I'm glad that you are able to go on the trips with the rest of the family. The last couple of years have been difficult for you. Being alone only made it worse. I understand. You are always working! I don't know how you do it. We are the same age and I don't think I could keep up with you. Continuing to work on a journal when you should have stopped. Sometimes when I'm working on a journal in the evening, I lose track of time and before I know it, it is 2 or 3 in the morning! 😂 That is ok since I live alone, except for the cats, and they do what they want.

Edith, I remember this journal cover 😊. It was my first cover. The only problem is that I was making a floral journal, that ended up being about 6 inches thick. I had no idea about signatures. Hi Edith. My husband and I just returned from a 6 week RV trip around half of our state. We are doing all of the state parks in Oregon this summer instead of traveling far away. In a few weeks, we will start the 2nd half of this state park tour going along the coast and down our interstate corridor. It was really fun seeing many of the Oregon trail Markers and museums. The eastern side of our state is very dry but very scenic. I would never want to live there because I have to have trees in my life. Glad you got away for a bit too. Hugs

You really can start with what you have. My first journal was made with all junk mail, magazines etc. very basic. There are a lot of videos on making simple true junk journals. And then I just started purchasing the digitals as I could. You can often find supplies at garage sales etc. Hope you can start 🙂

Hello Edith love your little find. I do a little crafting and can be very messy. Not everything I make is a keeper and I end up feeding it to the bin. I usually don't think mine is very good. I did make something you made a while ago a pouch out of larger book page I keep some fussy cuts in it. I tend to watch you tube videos at night when I go to bed.
