Great job on the restoration. I did a similar restoration on a 1972 bass boat. As you know, there is no such thing as a free boat! I split the top cap off the hull and did everything from the inside. New transom, stringers and deck and the thing is as solid as new. My project boat was purchased new by my Dad in 1972. He took me fishing while I was growing up and I have many memories on that boat. He is in his late 80's now and I got the opportunity to take him fishing in the restored boat. You can't put a price on that! We love the boat and my lovely lady and I take it out as often as we can in the summer. It serves us well and it was well worth the time and money I put into it. Good luck with your boat. I watched all three of your videos on this project ! You probably exceeded the manufacturers 90 HP rating by a substantial amount ! With the amount of support and weight you added down low will act as ballast . This vintage boat should be stable in rough water conditions as well . Fantastic job sir ! 👍

For a first time fiber glass job..yea killed it. I'm so ocd and meticulous that I thoroughly enjoyed the series. 2yrs ago and up to now lol. If it were me I'd deff do raptor liner. And can do it in white or any color. Comes black unless you want it tinted. I use black and then spray gloss black over it or brush and roll it depending on the project. Just idea that works on anything.

My boat has a 4.3 V6, so it has an alternator to charge the batteries. I don't know how your setup works but I use 2 batteries on a switch so you can save one for the engine and use the other one for the radio, pump and lights, etc. Because I do a lot of fishing, it works out real nice since we sit for extended periods while we're reeling in Haddock and Cod! lol

You can never have to much fuel especially boating in a river where currents are strong. It might take a 1/2 a tank of fuel going with the current and a full tank coming back against the current trust me I almost learned that the hard way in the ohio river and did not factor in river current coming back and ran out of fuel as soon as I docked at the boat ramp to pull out so definitely go with as much fuel capacity as possible.

That 3m 5200 can be frozen and reused. I froze mine for over a year, popped it back in the caulk gun, and it worked great

I would not glass the floor because you’re going to add that much more weight I would just sell it with fiberglass resin and hardener and then put the carpet over the top of it. You’re doing one hell of a job buddy.
