I wish i could use this technique but brother, my hands will not stand up to the arthritis in the fingers...but still the Superman punch of the FIREROLL still eludes me but the less strokes I have always strived for...lol

The important thing is which method works best for you my friend. The notchless method wouldn't be my first choice if we resorted to friction fire again. Most likely the fire roll. That said, I'm gonna make sure I have enough lighters and fire steels😉 Hope you are doing good, Mart

That method would allow more oxygen. Yes, I'm aware of such methods as well as others. The notchless method is just easy for me so I enjoy it.
