Note FE in 2023 Review - The Original Fan Edition!

I had two of these back in 2019. One for me and one for my mom. In my first date with my wife I lost mine LOL. Legend says I'm still regretting till these days.

I STILL want a coral blue one to this day. I was pretty upset when they took back my Note 7 but by the time it was released they had already stuck me with a regular ol S8 edge and the Note 8 was being released two months later. The only thing missing for me on this device was stereoish speakers.

Just a FYI if you ever go out and do get one of these phones to make sure to get the SM-N935F model (the international version) as opposed to the SM-N935S/K/L (Korean models). The Korean models are not supported by carriers here in the states as I found out the hard way. Mint Mobile, T-Mobile, and Metro PCS will support the SM-N935F models still as of current, but AT&T and Verizon will not (Verizon being CMDA, not GSM). I will miss my nearly mint condition coral blue model when I trade it into AT&T, but I just don't get service from my house when using this model. It works anywhere else I go but not at my house, but regardless of where the calls always seem to have a static in them which makes the speech of the other person hard to hear and at times rather garbled. Just a user experience and wanted to share with you the 2023 experience of this model.

as an exynos s7 edge user as of rn, you can bet that if I find a snapdragon note FE anywhere I'm gonna get an upgrade. The s7 edge, while not the most powerful (especially because of the exynos processor in my case and I used a Xiaomi Black Shark 3 until it broke about a month ago which is... Way more poweful), is the best phone I've used experience-wise, probably because I'm so old I missed a 16:9 screen and actual buttons. Things I do miss from my previous phone are usb-c and fast charging, and at least one of them would be covered with the note FE. And I'm so old fashioned that a stylus for me would make an even better experience and cheap universal styluses aren't really a good substitute for a precise s pen.

I paid $86.88 plus $8.15 tax for my Sprint Note 8. Has a little crack on the bezel but otherwise pristine with no burn in.

I have the coral blue, I'm surprised it works well with mint mobile but it's not a device I would recommend as a daily driver, it's great as a side phone with expandable storage tho

I currently use a Galaxy S8 plus. Although I have a much faster and better phone (Realme GT 5G) that I only use when I'm out, at home I always use the S8 plus because I really like the design. I actually have another phone better than the s8 plus. I have an S10e, so I'm kinda debating whether I should switch to it as my "home phone" or keep using the S8. The S10e is more powerful and the screen is brighter and has no burn in, but the S8+ is larger, has curved glass which I like and just feels better in the hand for me. So yeah, I don't really know if I should switch to it. What would you do?

I still have my galaxy note fe. The motherboard died at 2020 (i think)and just replaced the mobo from a local repair shop just this year. I miss the LED notification light (last generation to use that or the note 9) stylus and the satisfying haptic feedback. Still good tho but i don't use it for gaming. Tho it's battery is terrible in this generation (still terrible since its earlier years😂).
