I know you probably won't read this but I'm gonna say it anyways. You have been one of the people who has inspired me as a person. Your videos make me feel like I can truest be whatever I want to be, I can be as creative as I want and that life is not the dismal hole I thought it was. From a young age I've always hated living, I didn't see a point, no motivation and I wound up in a mental hospital a handful of times. I found you and a handful of other youtubers somewhere around 7th grade and it changed me. I just got this book yesterday and I can't get myself to put it down. It calms me in a way no other book does and the reason is that I know that its so honest. Most other books that you read are made-up stories and they don't really speak to me but this book, This book speaks to me and when I read it I understand that I'm not all alone in this world. If I am super angry, like I was yesterday bc my flight was delayed, I can just find your book in my backpack and start reading it, and when i found it, i felt this calm energy coming through my body, and all of a sudden I understood that this flight was delayed and there's nothing I can do but sit here and wait so why get mad. Note to self is actually the first book of yours that I've purchased and when I am done reading this (probably by tomorrow) I will run down to the bookshop and get your first book aswell. Thank you for being this open and thank you for sharing what people normally keep to themselves. Thank you for this book.

I just finished reading NTS and I feel like this is my only chance to say this. THIS is my baggage. I didn't know until now, and after reading, I am very aware of it. This book makes me really anxious and it inspires me at the same time. I haven't figured my existence yet. I'm on my way. And I am so scared. Terrified of what it will turn out to be. NTS is something else. Not a book. But a part of myself now. Holding it near me, 'cause it (although it's not an it anymore, but some kind of being) understands me at a higher level than I do. There are my thoughts, those I couldn't find words for. And someone else wrote them for me, better than I could ever imagine. At this very moment, all I can think about is how much I appreciate you, Connor, and how much I truly love you for the person you are and for the person you inspire me to become. I'm afraid. I can relate to this so much. I understand how it feels to bottle yourself up, to hide behind a mask, pretending to be happy so no one questions why you are so sad. I realize how hard it is to deal with this yourself, yet I also realize how hard it is to tell someone.
