Hi Tracie, what you are making is quite stunning and a great inspiration. In the first few minutes I did have difficulty following what you were doing, lots of moving about like the game of trying to follow the upside down cups hiding a bean. The game leader moves the cups around quickly here and there and then the other person tries to guess where the bean is. Then you had a speeded up part and that got me laughing. So adorable and easy to make! Love the notebook inserts and, although I don't generally care for ring bound journals, this one is fabulous! That darn Andrea has me making all kinds of those mixed media tags with Tim Holtz people. Well, I started printing out vintage pictures of my family and making my own paper dolls and what fun! I am addicted! TFS the inspiration, Tracie!

These are lovely - thank you for sharing! It did occur to me - if you make these reverse notebooks again, when you strengthen the spine with card (the spine with the metalinforced holes in, that goes through the rings), you could make the side of the card that you're adding nearest the book a little bit longer, but only glue it down as far as you did the last lot. What you then get is a sort of free 'lip' that you could tuck your top cover into to help hold the whole thing closed. I hope that makes sense (if not, and you want me to explain further, you know where to find me!). I hope all is well with you and yours :) xxx

Here (Vancouver Island, Canada) muslin is unbleached and available in a few weights of fabric. So I don’t have to coffee or tea dye it to get the vintage look. It’s already beige like. ✌️🇨🇦❤️🙏👍🐝
