I wanted to perform this for my senior bachelor's recital, but with Covid haunting all progress, it had to be cut from my recital. So spending a lot of time searching for good examples, this is by far the best example, especially when it comes to the type caxixi (not disregarding Souza's. own recording). Some have a very small hole just for one finger which makes this piece easier to play. But, like mine, the hoop is much larger for the entire hand to fit in; making it difficult to transition to the different playing areas. Thank you for the performance, and now I look forward to this being on my summer recording project.
