I love your authenticity! I’ve watched this video a few times since I rant across it yesterday. Love your style! I’m just now breaking free of feeling like I have to be a copycat of everyone I see on social media, and this video helps. It’s freeing to realize that I can do whatever I like in my Hobonichi! There are no Hobonichi police. I do quite a bit of Dear Diary writing so I’m going to have a dedicated book for that and also a dedicated common place book where I can put reference, lists, collections, and notes that I gather from books and videos. Please keep making videos. :-)

You need a “common place” book for lists. Books you read. Shows you watched. Favorite quotes. Camping list of camping info. List of spices. The ideas are endless. I love my common place book. It’s a dot grid that I bought at Walmart. Everything is in one place. You don’t have to flip through old planners to try to find the list you are looking for. It has made my life easier.

I only use symbols and specific stickers on my health pages. Other than that it’s really just word vomit on all the notes pages hahaha. I don’t have any symbol system though!

I agree I see so many layouts or other things I love in someone else's planner but hate it in mine. When I make videos I feel like it is Confession time of the things I tried but didn't like lol

Why do a lot of videos nowadays show up as over-bright? It hurts the eye and I can never ever finish a video no matter how great the content. Gives me a bad headache
