Hi lovely Rebecca !! I tend to enjoy neutral colours that lean slightly warm too . But I love ND nude although don’t use all the colours for some reason . Lisa Eldridge Vega looks pretty again I wouldn’t use the silver shadow in it . I had TF Nude Dip and I loved it 🥰 ❤

Yay!!!! Not even looking at yours yet - but mine is hands down, Tom Ford Nude Dip!!! The Army Chaplain has spoken! I wish ABH still made Sultry - such a great palette - except for the bright orange-coral color. I decluttered all my Scott Barnes; I didn’t like how they performed on me. I like both of those Dior palettes too! And I love using the PML Motherships I and X (Moonlit Seduction) together. And I wish ND would release an “I Need A Cool” palette!!! And I need to pull out Rock Chick! And the Ninetease palette!

Yours has got to be the definitive list. It’s really good because you’re working with these pallets daily. I stopped reviewing the Scott Barnes stuff for the most part because he just became problematic with how people felt about him and how the shades were performing and where the products were made etc. etc.

Yes, the Ninetease needs to get some love on YT! I have a looot of cool-toned palettes and love them all but this one has a special place in my heart. The mattes are perfection, the color story is on point for that nineties feel and I love the larger pan size. And the packaging is so nice, I will put most of my palettes in stacks but this one always gets a nice display spot because I just enjoy looking at it.

I have a neutral skin tone and actually prefer warm toned palettes but NARS Climax is one of the best. I wasn’t able to get it on original release but when NARS was doing a clearance after having brought it back I leapt on it and I’m very glad I did. I love the greens in that palette best but it’s overall a really good one and I don’t understand why they aren’t bringing other versions of it out as I agree so much of their eyeshadows look the same.

I think the ND Xenon looks to be the coolest toned palette from the outdoor arm swatches over the Retro or Glam. The INAN leans pretty cool on me. Some you overlooked include the Huda Rose Quartz, Tom Ford Violet Satine & Nude Dip & the YSL Babylone Roses...just my 2 cents 😊

My vote would be for the Viseart Violette Étendu palette as number 1. The Viseart Cashmerie Charmeuse Étendu as the next one and Tom Ford’s Nude Dip as third. I would include Tom Ford’s Honeymoon quad as a runner-up, but the two top shades in that quad might lean more neutral. Honeymoon is gorgeous. I can’t come up with 10 palettes though.

I’m still wanting the Glam palette but have put together a mix of the cool tones from the retro, golden and INAN palettes and it’s great. I hope she does an I need a cool palette with proper taupes and cool browns rather than greys. Surprised Nude Dip and Soft Cashmere aren’t on here. My favorites are Cle De Peau Sand Dune (possibly too neutral for inclusion but I love it) and Chanel Brun et Rose (though that’s Limited Edition).

ND Xenon is my day-to-day go to (Ok, I have a little grunge/punk edge to my suburban housewife facade, lol!) I also have a Glam mini for the green days... CT's is nice, but Xenon has everything there plus. Also like the cool Mac's limited edition Snowbody's Business, but have trouble with some fallout. I have Huda Beauty's Icy Nudes Palette & Mario's Moonlight on order, so can't say if they will depose my beloved Xenon - we'll see. Am eyeing several of the Dior palettes (5 Coleurs Denim & Wardrobe), but hmm. I am enjoying Danessa Myrick's new Lightworks Freedom palette (ok, not cool! but the shimmers got to me) that I need to explore more, but time is not on my side these days.

What happened to Scott Barnes? He seemed to be very popular in the youtube beauty space for a while then he seemed to disappear. I’m thinking the original Naked palette is a cool toned palette?What about the ABH Mario palette? Was that cool toned? I know it was very popular. and one of the ABH palettes I didn’t purchase when ABH was at the top of the beauty game. I have a Nars palette called Skin Deep, and I always considered it a cool palette. I agree with PML #1 as one of the best cool toned palette but I would add moonlit seduction(maybe #10) but I know it wasn’t one of her most popular palettes but it is one of my favorite cool toned palettes. I agree with the ND Glam palette as a cool toned palette. I guess I never thought of Retro as a cool toned but once you showed it next to Glam, I would see how it was more cool leaning. I think I have a hard time differentiating between cool and neutral. If a palette is super icy, I know it’s a cool palette or if it is like I need a nude, i can tell it’s cool, but sometimes with pinks and purples. I’m thinking they are warm depending on the palette. Like retro, I always considered that warm, not cool. Now why didnt you include ND I need a nude? I mean the name suggests it is nude and since ND said so, it must be 🤣 Great video!! I know the Cool Tone Army is thrilled with all the recent cool toned options!

This was such a tough one, Tracie and I left out some really good ones including Lisa Eldridge and Tom Ford. I did not include I need a nude because all of the complaints that I got when I reviewed it were that it was way too warm. As you know, the cool tone revolution army does not stand for any nonsense ha ha. I don’t know what exactly happened to Scott Barnes. I know that he had so much trouble with his production during and after Covid and I think, to an extent, he just decided to go in a different direction but I’m not sure we know what the direction is yet and I don’t know if he does either to be honest but that’s just a guess.

@ The cool tone revolution army does NOT play around!!! They aren’t going to be fooled into thinking something is cool toned when it is really neutral and d slightly cool. Give them cool or nothing at all. I love their passion! You know for many years, cool toned shadows were the norm and then maybe ABH introduced Modern Renaissance and warm shadows just blew up the beauty space leaving cool tones as an afterthought. Now it may not have been ABH or that palette that send the beauty world spinning to warm tones but it is what I recall or when I noticed the huge shift. In fact, I got married in 2003 and used a Chanel quad that was cool and I had several of her quads and all of them were cool toned.
