This shade is definitely up my street! Looks like a cooler shade which I prefer to warm coppery. Also reminds me of some of my favourite Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream eyeshadow sticks such as Smokey Topaz. Never thought to look you up on IG so away to do that now!!

Yup these beauty brands throw "Smokey Quartz" around a lot. I guess it evokes a certain vibe...a smoky vibe. Why I just wore my CT Pop Shot of Smokey Q last night!! Nice for you to have some warm California sunshine!! We got our first snow of the season yesterday and it's 25 degrees as I write this...brrrr!! ❄️

Yay! 25 degrees! Cue the it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas song! What makes me laugh about the whole smoky quartz thing is the spelling. I see Smokey with an EY and Smokey with a Y. Maybe one is less smoky than the other ha ha

I was intrigued by this liner only because of the name of Smoke Quartz😂 I love the colour when it is called smoke quartz 😅 However, I have both of Charlotte Tilbury ones! So I guess I can skip this. What a great one and done shadow. My Victoria Beckham package is set to arrive today. I will definitely try this ! I bought a lot from her Black Friday sale. Looks so very pretty as a shadow. Looks great on you. I still want that Smokey black and maybe this one. The minx eyeshadow pot is my favorite of hers. I can’t ever remember the name of those. I use it as a one and almost done ( a little bronzer in crease). And I use to wear heavy eye makeup but I love that shadow. Everything always looks great on you. Thank you so much.

I love your reviews!- Victoria Beckham's website has a very silver jewel eyeliner she demos under her brand new Surfside Satin liner....what shade is it- I own Sea Grey and it doesn't look like it, do you think its the Smokey Quartz?

Thank you so much! If it's a Jewel Liner and it's silvery, it must be night flash, I'm thinking? There are about four of those and they're different from the satin kajal in that they contain glitter particles within the liner.

Good morning Rebecca, the smoky quartz liner is very beautiful as a one and done.I only use VB liners.They don’t budge all of my 9 hours of work !! I wish this one was introduced during the 20 percent off sale.I am going to Bergdorf’s Goodman this week I will see if this shade is available yet.The site should give an option if you choose to have a bag.Like you I have many !! Love the colour very unique. Although not sure if they are limiting the application by asking not to tight line 🤔. Especially when you can get the same look with eyeshadows or eye primers. I recently bought the Sigma eyeshadow base earthen. Can I create the same smokiness with it? Cheers

The CT Dark Pearl is SO close. A thicker line from a thicker pencil. Color Chameleon but still shade wise, very close.

Hi Rebecca~ I didn’t even realize that this shade was released, so glad for your video. The color looks beautiful on you. I completely agree with your opinion on the reusable bag. I wish there was a way to select option of not sending when ordering. Or maybe a way that we could choose “limited packing” This way they can still include the corn packing to protect the item (I think it’s corn.. lol) and hold the bag and postcard. 😊

I recall Tom Ford did an eye palette called Smokey Quartz... it was a creamy neutral quad. I never picked that up, but, BUT! I did indulge in Victoria Beckham's makeup on BF :D It hasn't arrived yet, but I selected her signature smokey eye brick, and I went for the liner collection in a bag (oh another canvas bag Rebecca! 😂) where you were invited to choose 6 colours at just under $16 each - which I thought was a bargain considering how good they appear to be.... so I requested Fig Cocoa Olive Bronze Ash & Bordeaux. Anyway it's my first try of VB Beauty - I'll let you know what I think! If they are good, I'll be singing "Goodbye -Yellow Brick Road- Jones Road!" eye liners! Ha ha.

There ARE shimmer/glitter FINE particles but, I'm telling you, if I didn't KNOW that I am not SUPPOSED to wear in the water line, I'd be doing so happily but I can't un-know the warning. Haha. I don’t want any more brushes or palettes (of course I do, but you know what I mean-now I think before buying), BUT I don’t care about having too many bags. Go figure!!! 🤓 Fine glitter is totally OK by me. Like you said, you wouldn’t think twice if you hadn’t seen the warning. That’s what I like. I hate big chunky glitter and have actually given away all my palettes where there was at least one glittery shade. I reached a limit with glitter too!!!! Funny. 🤓🤩💖
