@@annaclark3169 Hey Anna, I haven't done the proper research yet because at the moment I'm using a Kiehl's foaming centella cleanser (liking it, I got the mini size to try and my sensitive skin gave it a thumbs up 😊) and a hydrating soothing mist by Avene (Eau Thermale). I reccommend Kelly Driscoll channel on Korean skincare, she does some fantastic reviews!

@@annaclark3169 Korean beauty products that I absolutely love. I am currently doing their seven layers of essence which has totally changed the game. I really like May Coop Raw sauce for essence, award winning product! Love it so much. Highly recommend Laniege cleanser and their moisturizer milk toner! I have been using Korean skin care for a while now. If you tell me, what kind of skin do you have oily versus dry versus acne prone I can give you some recommendations on specific products if you would like.

I've got the cleanser and cloths and they are both next level skincare for me. I never usually fully wash my face, even after removing makeup, because I have such sensitive skin that is prone to getting dry. No cleanser I have tried before has been able to BOTH remove all my makeup AND hydrate my skin, until now. LE's treatment cleanser is truly incredible and for a bottle that will last 200 days (you truly only need a small blueberry sized amount), I am more than happy to invest in this as something that I will use every last drop of. How many of us buy expensive foundations and blushes, only to have to discard them years down the line when they still aren't used up or have expired? Equally, how many of us use cheaper cleansers and then spend a fortune on moisturisers to counterbalance the drying nature of them? It makes sense to me to invest in the thing I will be getting the most use out of. I really love this formulation, it works well as a treatment mask too and properly plumps my skin, and the cloths are just a delight too. They're well designed, large enough, incredibly soft and they wash well without shrinking or curling inwards (a personal bugbear!). The range is expensive but I absolutely recommend it. Thank you for the videos Rebecca, I always come to your channel when I need a pick-me-up 🙂

First of all, thank you for the kind compliment. Secondly, what an informative, eloquent, wonderful comment this is. I really love how in depth you went and how much you can speak for the product. I think the problem is people see expensive skin care and they feel like it’s a money grab. But there really is something unique about these products. After I cleanse, it feels like my skin is moisturized and usually cleansing has the opposite effect. Your experience is going to be so helpful for others who read this and I am very grateful that you took the time to tell us.

Hi Rebecca . I did purchased LE skincare. I absolutely loved them. The wash makes skin so smooth and hydrated. Love to use with face massager. And the mist i do love as skincare as well. I usually, at night, wash my face then spray the mist, and then put my retina. So with other skincare, which i do use very good skincare, but my skin never was so hydrated. After retina i would have to put some moisturizer. But with LE skincare i dont need anything😜 and glow its amazing as well. I think she did amazing job. The products are not gimmicky, like Violette boom milk. I love her aesthetics, and she is great artist as well as LE, but the products are not comparable. LE skincare is truly worth, especially for those who have aging and/ or dry skin. Have a blessed day🙏💗

Gotta admit my first thought was "all the special/expensive ingredients are just going to be washed off" for the cleanser, and thought it wouldn't be worth it. Boy, was I wrong. Even when I don't use it as a mask, and just cleanse my face with it, it's amazing. I have these stubborn patches of flaking skin from my mid-jaw to ears and this cleanser took care of it better than anything I've tried (including manual or chemical exfoliation). It really does do something special to the skin that I have not experienced with any other balm or oil cleanser that I have used. (It was nice using them with her cloths, too) I got the cleanser/cloth combo deal...I really like the clothes a lot and they weren't too expensive (especially when combining them with the cleanser). I like using the muslin side on my lips, as Lisa demonstrated, to give a little extra exfoliation, and rinsing off the cleanser with the terry side. It's nice that they are white so I can see when I've gotten my skin all nice and clean, and they've laundered fine thus far. I have only tested the mist and it does feel very refreshing so far...and ever so slightly "grippy" while at the same time hydrating. I like your suggestion, Rebecca, to use it to refresh m/u as the day goes on. I honesty have forgotten to use this in the morning when I finish my m/u so I am going to still have to try it as a setting spray. I like that it doesn't have alcohol in it, as I've heard some setting sprays do contain it and that's a firm "no" for my skin. To the naysayers out there...I totally get that this cleanser may sound unnecessary. I have several cleansers I've used and liked (or so I thought) but...Lisa E. has set a new standard for me. This takes care of double cleansing and hydrating (or moisturizing, I'm honestly not clear on the difference) my skin in a way that no other product I've ever tried, has ever done before. (For reference, my skin is normal with some dry/flaky patches on the jawline, and some very minor flaking due to retinol use.)

As always thanks for such a lovely and informative video! Her skin care line and those cloths seems amazing!!! I get that it may seem expensive to some but many of us like to know all about the new stuff and things regardless if we plan to buy or not. Considering that you review mostly high-end and luxury items, including Lisa Eldridge skin care is right on target PLUS you have reviewed her makeup, so it all makes sense!!! I appreciate the comments that there are skincare items out there that are less expensive but there the same argument can me made around makeup. Folks are going to choose what they are willing to pay for and that’s ok. Once again, thanks for all you do with bringing all the good stuff to your subscribers ❤

You probably know my favorite line of thinking: chanel bag? Louis Vuitton is cheaper! LV bag? Coach is cheaper! Coach bag? Marc by Marc is cheaper. MJ bag? Target bags are cheaper. Target bag? This old tote is cheaper. Old tote? Just throw it all in this grocery bag. Grocery bag? You could just use this hefty bag. Fits more. It never ends. We can ALL save money somewhere. Exactly as you say. It’s where you choose to spend vs save. So true.
@traciewarren1070
@traciewarren1070 Жыл бұрын
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty RIGHT!! It’s all personal choice and we all spend our money where we can and on what we want. It’s very unlikely, I’m going to be swayed to drug store brand skincare or makeup but I’m not going to knock anyone who loves those brands. Here I am contemplating buying yet ANOTHER Dyson hair tool after just getting the new Airwrap!! Some would think that’s crazy but I like to spend my money on things that I feel are a value for me and perform the way I want. Now to be fair around the Dyson purchases, we do have multiple Dyson home products, such as vacuums, fans/haters, air purifiers, so it really shouldn’t be an issue for Scott if I pick up another Dyson hair tool🤣🤣 You are right on point with your line of thinking, some folks want Chanel and others might want a hefty bag to carry their things. AND it’s all good whatever folks choose. 😘

Thanks for this. The cleanser does take off makeup. The smell is interesting. I like it, but it's not going to be for every day - too much $. The cloths are great, thicker and bigger than others & I will get them as gifts & more for myself. The mist is refreshing insofar as any mist is, I do like that it doesn't sting irritated skin or make me ultimately drier. I tend to use lots of mists as the weather gets warmer, so the cost is a factor. I'm trying to think of another mist that acts like Lisa's and not coming up with one. For example, Caudalie is sometimes irritating to me. I wouldn't use any "setting sprays" for refreshing (and still haven't found one that doesn't ultimately feel drying and/or make me look glowier than I like). I do like the Ritual de Fille Thorn Milk but again, big $ for not enough product & if you don't like real rose, don't bother. So far, I've managed discounts on that one, otherwise I'd give it up. I agree with the commenter who said that we can get great skincare with K-beauty/J-beauty. I AM going to use the cleanser up though, as directed, just to see what all the saponin fuss is about. Normally I use the Hado Labo cleansing oil with a microfiber cloth then Beauty Pie Japan fushion cleanser ($11) or the Ordinary's old Squaline cleanser or Cereve's new milky foam cleanser or just the Hado Labo oil if my skin is dry or irritated. I did get the Skin 1004 Centilla oil, it's fine but soapy smelling & maybe slightly drying, maybe great for oily skin.

@@debbieotoole1072 we have to work backwards. What has been new? Not just make up but even detergent because it could be a pillowcase etc. Is it getting better at all? Or is it something that you are unknowingly still using? I have to say that I do agree with you that sometimes when the skin gets so irritated, some sort of a medication or topical treatment from the doctor is indeed required to kind of stop it from continuing. So you might need some sort of a prescribed cream. But I don’t want it to happen again so I wonder if we can figure out, by process of elimination, what might have caused it.

I just do NOT enjoy that feeling but this one I can tolerate. One of the few. The Charlotte is definitely a setting spray to keep makeup on and in place. This one is more a reviving spray and a refreshing spray. Spray fans could def use both.

These look like really nice products! I'm not a big Setting spray person unless it has alcohol. I know I know...the big cardinal sin. BUT as someone with oily skin all setting sprays usually do is hydrate my skin and make the powders I just set wet. So I'm all about those hair sprays or alcohol based ones 😂

Hi Rebecca, I purchased the mist and just used it for the first time as a setting spray and it worked nicely. Will try it in different ways, including to refresh makeup, in the coming days. I'm interested in the cleanser mostly for the claims that it improves one's skin over time such that you use less of your skincare products. If you continue to use the cleanser regularly, please report back if you see improvements to your skin.

Tracey! I LOVE the mist as a refresher. I am using the cleanser now twice a week. It adds SO much moisturizer that, you're correct, I wasn't using skincare afterwards and I LOVE my skincare so I end up using this on nights when I can go light on anything after. The skin feels so moisturized after just the cleanser!

I like the mist but I’m not sure it’s absolutely necessary or provides more than my fix +. The nozzle ended up popping off mine when it arrived and was slightly crooked but thankfully popped back in and seems to work fine, the sprayer itself is very nice lol. It may be something il need to explore in the winter months but currently I’m just using it over light makeup days. For fuller faces i prefer fix + and CT.

I was definitely in the "disappointed" camp when she launched these. I watched her video talking about the ingredients and then when I went to her website I saw that the first ingredient was actually just the coconut derived oil, and then no longer understood the pricing. I really don't like things with coconut in them. Even if it is highly processed it just worries me that I am going to get breakouts from it. I may try all of these at some point just because I like Lisa, but the idea of reducing steps actually doesn't appeal to me lol. I like my gigantic skincare routine for that self-care pampering ritual, as a nice indulgence in my life. Gotta enjoy it now as a newlywed before I have kids and can't find the time anymore.

Rebecca which size did you get in the sweater? ❤
@NotFitforPrintBeauty
@NotFitforPrintBeauty 8 ай бұрын
I will give you an answer but there’s a bit of a story behind it. I got a large because I wanted it to be longer. I thought it would be really cute with like leggings and boots almost like to the hips like a little mini sweater dress. Unfortunately I should’ve really just gotten a medium because it’s really boxy and short and, getting the large, just made it wider And not longer. So I could basically fit in it with another person next to me. And it’s still short.
