I have a 2021 5.3 now and my lease is up. Can’t believe how much quicker the 2.7t feels. Think I’ll be going with this exact truck here soon.

I just got one from work. My main complaint is the there is no volume control or switch song buttons on the steering wheel? 🤦🏻‍♂️ World problems but they should have them on these trucks imo?

I think I’ll get the custom I don’t really need the higher trims even tho I love the lt the RST but trucks are too expensive nowadays. The custom 1500 will be my go to truck

Got a 23 custom and I love it I was coming from a 2006 Nissan titan that had no tech in it no infotainment screen, no remote start, no lane keep assist, no apple car play and got mine for 37k mine is a to and from work, cruising and weekly going out of town and also more features means more problems

@@Mariolira10 you’re not lying about that new features does equal more problems in most vehicles. But tbh now that I thought about I think I might just stick with sedans the truck prices just keep increasing more and more who knows what’ll be like in the next 5-10 years

The f150 ecoboost also has a turbo. I bought my Silverado custom for 42k and in my area, you can’t buy a new f150 for less than 56k similarly equipped

My nephew has a Silverado 2.7 turbo and hew loves it, but I would definitely do for the 3.0 Duramax. It's an efficient and capable engine that's well worth the $2400 upcharge.

I'm sure you're right about the diesel, but I'm only seeing it in higher trim levels that are MUCH more expensive!

@@sharkskin3448 Dealers always order higher trims or add lots of stupid options that nobody wants in order to increase their profit margin. You'll definitely have to special order to get what you want, which is what I plan to do.

@@christophersmith5116 You need to step up to at least the LT trim for the 3.0 to be available, but it's worth the jump in price considering you get a much nicer interior and a lot more features. But I'd have no problem buying a Turbomax Custom if that's what my budget allowed. It's a solid engine.

I’m glad I waited to buy one of these. Going to get one at the end of the year and the prices are sitting around $37-39k. No WAY I would’ve paid $53,000 for one of these. That’s insane.

I got a 2.7l custom for 36k. The 5.3 was at least 6k more. I have 100k warranty on powertrain and it gets 24 mpg

Be nice if the headlights and tail lights had LED bulbs like the interior and trunk bed has. The halogen bulbs aren’t that great at night.

This 2.7L 9000# capacity truck will tow a 6000# "couple's" trailer amazingly with it's 310HP and 430#/ft. ~ 2023 1500 LT
