I know you probably do a lot of these reviews, but I have to say I was really impressed at how thorough you are with running through the features as well discussing them without being too long-winded. Your review showed me literally everything I was hoping for in the walkthrough and drive example as I’m looking at a few of these cars up here in Oregon. Just wanted to say you did a fantastic job and it is really appreciated.

I've got the same car. Right after getting it, I bought a module to turn off the cylinder deactivation feature and installed it. I'm not worried about gas mileage. I just want all six cylinders firing all the time, giving me the power I paid for. Also, I've heard a lot of bad stuff about cylinder deactivation, like how it's tough on engine parts like mounts.

@@Pedro-ee5jr I bought S-VCM Controller brand over 5 years ago. I communicated with them via email before purchasing. They were responsive. It's still going strong. It's a solid product. Well-insulated. Installation is piece of cake. After I installed, I couldn't tell if it's working because there's no confirmation on the dash or anything. But I knew it's working - not only by the "feel" of V6 power but by monitoring MPG live monitor feature that's one of the options in the dash menu. Before installation, MPG on the freeway fluctuates between 30 and 40 even when accelerating. But with the device installed, it's consistently below 20 and if i really step on the accelerator, 10-15. It really unleashes the RDX, in my opinion.

@@Pedro-ee5jr AFM (Active Fuel Management) is a GM terminology. Honda calls theirs VCM (Variable Cylinder Management). The brand I bought is called S-VCM Controller. It's well built. well-insulated. It's doing its job after 5 years. Installation is piece of cake. I communicated with them via email before purchasing. Once installed there's no indication it's installed. Nothing on the dash. But I knew it's working not only by "feel" of power but, selecting the MPG Live monitor in the dash menu. Before installation, on freeway, it fluctuates between 30-40 miles even when accelerating. After installation, it's between 10-20. It really unleashes the RDX in my opinion.

This is a well thought out review that got to the point. I was looking at this year and model. I'm nervous driver and not too keen on SUVs but you make it look easy. 😃

Probably a decent price, we bought a 2013 RDX technology 3 years ago for $17000 and it had about 70k miles at the time. And that was before used car prices went up significantly due to the pandemic. Has just a little over 100k miles on it now and drives. We also have a 2012 Honda CRV EXL that would sell for retail about $13000. The CRV is a nice vehicle but the Acura is much nicer

Hello, that was a great review- I am thinking of a 2013 Acura RDX with 165,569 miles selling for $1,300.00. Looks just like the one you reviewed with silver exterior and same leather interior. Do you think that’s a deal or too many miles? I live in the western suburbs but I don’t drive a lot- mainly on the weekends.

Hey man, need your suggestion. I have a deal for 2013 Acura RDX tech package, 190k miles, 2 owners, selling for 6500. I need to drive more 20k miles and i can then sell it for 5k. Do you think its a good a deal?

I would try to get one for less, those miles are a tad high for that price in my opinion.

I'm getting ready to buy a 2014, 70k miles at $9000. I test drove it for 2 days cuz my buddy sells vehicles so I could get a good feel and it's nice. Getting it this week. I'm thinking I got a steal on it but fingers crossed always. Did you purchase one? If so how's it going with it.

I'm not satisfied why you can't test the sound system so we will hear the balance of the system audio... How can we no how the audio system sound I'm not okay on the video

Recording speaker sound through what's probably a low or mid level videocam, then pushing it through whatever phone or laptop speakers you're using, is not going to sound good or be a realistic sample of the actual quality
