I am heading to Sandy Wool tomorrow for some fishing I hope this cold weather doesn’t turn off the bite. Thanks for all your pond trout tips I cannot wait to put them to the test over the next few weeks.

I hope to be there as well tomorrow. The newly planted trout have pink meat and larger than state planted fish. They are not taking the usual technique I believe because of the cold weather. Don't be afraid to try all technique you know so far. Thanks for watching.

Does your Stringer have a name brand. I like the size and apparent ease of use. Thanks

Stringer was purchased from Amazon. It's readily available there. Thanks for watching.

nice! , so you were keeping jig at the bottom and after you were jigging very slow?
@anglerslifestyle43216 жыл бұрын
Yes, keep it down, then pop it up, retrieve then let it drop. Repeat. Keep tension on your line so you'll feel the hit.

It was nice meeting you on Saturday! I was the kid fishing on the point area next to the kid that caught one in front of you which you took a selfie with!

Oh yes, great to have met you. Thanks again for watching.

Nice video Carlos, where to next? I tried quarry lake this pass Saturday and it was desapointing not a single bite all day long. Looking foward for your next video!
@anglerslifestyle43216 жыл бұрын
Quarry is tough. For now, Sandy Wool, Shadow Cliffs, and Don Castro are choice destinations. Thanks for watching.

Instead of letting them splash around on the bank.. just pull em in, your giving it time to shake the hook off. Also don't be afraid to grab the fish. They aren't poisonous 😂. Nice vids 👌
@anglerslifestyle43215 жыл бұрын
It's the thrill of the splash that makes it fun. Thanks for watching.

😲 nice, how come this time u don’t do the Carlos special poking thru the lower jaw for the fish keeper and instead went old school thru the gill plate ?
@anglerslifestyle43216 жыл бұрын
For some reason, their jaws are weak this season. I have had a few ones get away because of this so I stopped taking chances. Great you noticed. Thanks for watching.

not lucky. just a master!. i can’t catch like you. i need to try that weightless jig. what do you do? you just let it hit the bottom and move it with 3lb test line?
@anglerslifestyle43216 жыл бұрын
Making me blush. Yes, let it drop. Wait, jig it, reel in (one crank), repeat. Wait and feel for bite. Thanks for watching.

Hey do you use rooster tails or spoons?
@anglerslifestyle43216 жыл бұрын
Yes I do but for now, mini jigs seem to do better. Thanks for watching.
