I can relate. My 18 year old (only) sister was killed in a car accident in May 1992, right before my wedding. I miss her so much every single day. They say it gets easier, and it does, to a degree. I tried so hard for my mother to love me. I was never gonna be good enough. I promised myself my daughter would never feel that way. I think I went too far being too mom-ish. Some people were meant to just wish for someone to care about them. I try every day to accept that and be okay.
