Glad to see your daughter again. Can't wait to see y her reaction - I know your's. Geoff dropped a new one on Friday - Big Iron. This project was Geoff's responsibility which means he did the arrangement, the staging (Eli does the lighting), video, assigns camera work, and more. He sends out the parts each person will be singing, they get back with him if the want to do something a bit different. He originally wrote a "guitar solo" but in the end asked Layne to do his violin. Stunning stuff here. They've been doing this kind of stuff since high school and originally the group was known as 4:2:Five since they went from 4 members to 5 back in 1997. In 2010, Eli joined the group (Geoff, Layne, Earl were original members. Earl left for personal reasons in 2020, but he's done a lot and one of his best is Queen in 5 Minutes.) Tony Wakim (VP baritone) until he wanted to get into productions and he and Layne bought Pattycake Productions studio. See him in Phantom of the Opera along with Rachel Potter.

🤣 Are they over the ear headphones? I have to say, when I use my cheap-o in the ear headphones for my phone, it's not nearly as amazing as the more expensive headphones we use for reactions! Anyone not using headphones at all won't get that same experience!

One thing VoicePlay always tries to do is make sure that their "featured artist" really does have a truly featured role in their production. They made sure to "leave room" for J. None in this song, and he did a marvelous job! While Eli has done a few arrangements (and is planning on stepping up in that department), Geoff and Layne have split the vast majority of song arrangement between them for years. This is Geoff's arrangement, and he has a video on his solo channel telling how he arranges songs for VoicePlay. It's definitely worth a look if you're interested - and it's completely hilarious, so it's worth a look even if you don't care!

Wow, I like this Metallica song, one of the best rock ballads of all time. I like it a lot, well not as much as Phoenix, but quite a bit 😉☺️. 🦍 .. I have lost count of how many times I have watched this Voiceplay video .. but , it never disappoints. I was more than happy to watch it again with the dynamic duo from Texas. Because you don't need more reasons to love Geoff, but he also arranged this one. Metallica and voiceplay both covered the 1600s folk song Whiskey in the Jar. And if phoenix likes j none rapping, Valhalla calling is a must, plus Geoff hits his lowest notes he can do and holds them for up to 15 seconds. For super smooth harmonies and vocal runs voiceplay covered Tennessee Whiskey w j none too.

Some rude gatekeeper troll commented something to the effect of “bagpipes do NOT belong in metal, let alone Metallica. You need to be introduced to country acapella. Check out Home Free sing Man Of Constant Sorrow. Geoff also does a great version. Both totally different. Edit: This was arranged by Geoff. If you check out the notes, you will see who arranged the piece. It's usually Geoff or Layne, but Eli is doing some now too.

Please pardon my verbosity, but I have a few things to say... I have truly enjoyed seeing your daughter reacting with you. One 'Realistic' is delightful, but two is even better! It seems as though there is still some uncertainty concerning Phoenix's title. I heard her call herself 'Mini Realistic', and comments have done the same. My love of words gives me some uncomfortability concerning 'mini'. Mini is a diminutive word, and, Phoenix, you are not diminutive. If I may, I would suggest something else; how about, 'Realistic, The Younger'? This was a title used in older times to delineate the lineage of Royalty. Phoenix, Mrs. Realistic is one of my favorite reactors ( and the number of favorites is small). You must now be added to that number. I appreciate the music that you two have introduced me to give a listen. And Geoff Castelluci is amazing, as are VoicePlay. Then, there is 'Nemophilia! I will definitely be looking into their music. Mrs. Realistic, you've mentioned that you grew up in the 70s. Did you ever hear of the band 'Fanny'? They are the first female instrumental group in the US. There are four members, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards. They sing, whether lead vocals or background vocals and harmonies. They were excellent. The Warning, is, I believe, carrying the torch forward for them. Thank you for your time reading this.

I guess the "mini" is since everyone says she's a "mini me" even tho I don't see it (she looks just like her dad when he was younger) but you're right, especially since she's taller than I am by about 4 inches 🤣 Oh and I've never heard of Fanny (I grew up in Canada tho, so maybe that's why?)
