Geoff in "Oogey Boogey" or the Disney Medley has an extreme example of his range, which is about 5 octaves.

You got her hooked. lol. She was glued to the screen during the video. I think Geoff has even more of a range in VoicePlay's cover of "Oogie Boogie Song" from A Nightmare Before Christmas. Did you 2 ever watch Disney's Encanto? VP covered "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from there, feat Ashley Diane, one of my favorites from VP.

Yes, that's the most requested one for me to show her next! Unfortunately we haven't seen Encanto... so we don't know the songs. 😔

The moment I heard Geoff Castellucci's cover it became my anthem for our real warriors who battle fires. The Firefighters who protect our towns, cities, and homes. The Hotshots and Smokejumpers who fight fires in the woods and wilderness. Great reaction. Glad you both liked his cover

Mrs. Realistic, your sweet tears are so moving because the song is so emotionally powerful just like the first time. I know so many of us in the comment section were sending you virtual hugs. Nothing like the power of music! Karen Carpenter is my kryptonite; as her voice consistently makes me tear up, so I get it. Keep making great content as you always do. AND, to Pheonix, your mother has GREAT TASTE IN MUSIC! She has kindly put up with my 6 requests so far (and loved them all)! Great to see you enjoying this time reacting and this great time with your mom! 😀

For those familiar with "The Hobbit", it adds to the emotional impact of this video that three of the four dwarves whom Geoff is portraying (Kili, Bofur, Fili, and Thorin ) die in the coming battle. Performed as a song sung by warriors, knowing that they or their companions will likely not all survive, makes this powerful.

So glad you rewatched this one to show your daughter more of Geoff's amazing range! Apart from those already suggested, I would like to add 'Unshaken', from the game 'Red Dead Redemption 2' - it features the 4 Geoff 'clones' before they became the 'Ghost Riders On The Storm'..! Loving your journey with Geoff and Voiceplay - maybe your daughter would appreciate 'We're Good' and 'Good 4 U', featuring a young singer named Adriana Arellano - she first featured in their 'Frozen 2' medley as a 15th birthday present from the group, who had seen her on social media and invited her to sing with them. (Her parents are friends of the Castellucci's). 🥰

Yes, Geoff's newest cover of "Big Iron" really shows off his range and smoothness of his voice. I think his best show of his range is in Voice Play's Little Mermaid Medley; where he plays Ursula. He does a great job in VP's Hellfire from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. And, of course his solo cover of the Sound of Silence.

Another cover of this song that you may enjoy is by Feuerschwanz, a German folk metal band. Their version is more uptempo, and they add fiddle and bagpipes to the normal metal instruments. Their original songs are normally in German, but they do lots of covers, mainly in English.
