Yeah, I saw a festival gig they did that was filmed. The mix was awful, they made the vocals the loudest, most prominent thing in the mix. You just don't do that in shoegaze, party because shoegaze singers aren't really good singers. Anyway, I like this a lot!

Disclaimer: this is essentially Reddit level knowledge, so you may want to take it with a grain of salt. - Nick Bassett (somewhat original bass player) supposedly left to focus on recording/engineering. - Never found out the guy's name that played bass between him and Aaron Heard joining (he's in the 2016 KEXP session), so no clue where he went. - Aaron Heard left in late 2021 after his kid was born and then he also has a new Jesus Piece record coming out on Century Media soon, so lots of touring going on and more to come there. - Brandon Setta left in 2019 since he supposedly couldn't pertain the touring lifestyle any longer. He put out two heartbreaking- and breathtakingly beautiful records as White Lighters in the meantime. - Kyle Kimball recently stopped touring with them when his Night Sins record came out last March and then he also married With all of that being said, I 100% hope Nicky and Doyle will write another Nothing record and it'll be the coolest shit.

I saw them live in 2016- where the lead singer acted like a giant drunk entitled baby. They had to restart 3-4 songs because they were all too hammered to play correctly.
