It's interesting the difference between Zoro's and Sanji's offers of self sacrifice. Zoro offered his life out of loyalty and responsibility while Sanji offered his out of the (false) belief that his life is worth less than the rest of the crew. Saying "I've always been prepared to sacrifice myself for others," does not suggest a very healthy self image. It almost comes off as suicidal.

I don’t think people understand how crazy this was for Zoro pretimeskip. On top of all of his own damage, pain, and fatigue he took in this arc, he was now about to take on all of Luffy’s on top of that. No devil fruit, no special ability, no help. Just him. And after all that, he managed to stay alive. Great feat for Zoro.

The way I tell people: a paw repels or rejects what it touches to protect the rest of the foot. His paws are basically rejecting the space or object it touches. Depending on the angle, he can reject and redirect what it touches. He can reject an object's space or what is there with air, thereby sending it flying. And rejecting air into a tiny area will result in a devastating shock-wave!

Hey Alicia, just wanted to tell you something (I’m keeping it spoiler free and not mentioning character names or plot points or storylines) about certain One Piece movies. Depending on if you’re gonna watch any of the movies one day then one thing that could be good to know is that from Strong World onward there are sometimes certain characters that are canon in the One Piece world overall but their story in the movie are not, only to the movie itself. The reason I bring it up is in some movie certain characters will appear and will be brought up in the series while in some movies some characters will appear only to never be brought up again in the series. I’m not saying which character or in what movie. But it’s good to keep in mind.

One of the moments that just cements the respect of Zoro as a foundation of the crew. He'll go any lenghts for the captain. Its what i love about the strongest Straw Hats trio: Luffy - The beacon of hope, always shining and overcoming the odds when it is needed. Fun fact: There's a few kinds of pacifists. One kind will refuse to get involved with any kind of violence. Another kind of pacifist will not be the one to throw the first punch. And that second one is relevant. Even though Kuma was ordered to attack, he did not make the first move. One of Lola's crewmates did. 42:30 endorphins are wild. My ankle was run over by a truck (a bit of a freak accident), it did not hurt at all until hours later. During and right after it was completely numb. I had no idea how hurt I was or wasn't. No broken bones (somehow) and the doctor called it a 'really bad sprain.' I got off super light for what happened, had to walk with a cane for like 6 months but yeah. Endorphins kicked in and completely blocked the pain for hours.
