Intro/Chorus riff on the open E, are you using a wah effect on your pedalboard? Trying to figure out what is being done to adjust the sound between the open Es without you playing another string or fretted note.

It’s a pitch shift effect. But there’s usually a setting where it will only pitch as you hold the button down. You can also control how quickly it pitches up, and how quickly it returns to normal
