@@joncolinas5609 I am very sorry to say that Yoruba nation is a very stupid idea, and I am a proud Yoruba son. A Yoruba man is the president of Nigeria, what has come out of it? what has come out of any Yoruba state? is it in Ekiti? or Ondo (do not be quick to forget the episode of the immediate past bereaved governor). Even Lagos has become the personal property and backyard of someone we all know, and you are calling for Yoruba nation? Nothing will change my brother; in fact, it will get worse because there will no longer be any crude oil money to embezzle. The Yoruba elites will now tax the very air that you are breathing. engage in critical thinking like Seun Kuti and do not just support something that you do not know how it will even work. Even before the Europeans came to our shores, we Yoruba people were at war with each other. why do you think they easily marched past us all the way to the Benin Empire, where was the resistance? Our greed is well known among our compatriots, nothing will come out of any Yoruba nation.

Seun's template is fantastic, just as I was telling someone yesterday. It is a collective responsibility; politicians are united regardless of their tribal differences, while other Nigerians are left divided by the tribal template provided by the politicians. Nigerians from all sides must understand one thing, unite, and fight these politicians together. Tribe is a very potent tool used by politicians to divide, rule, and oppress the non-political class. Politicians are operating under crony capitalism; they are there for their families and friends, not for their tribes at all. Buhari ruled for 8 years, yet the North is still what it is. Tinubu will rule, the Southwest will still remain what it is. That tells you that they aren't there for their tribes but for their cronies, so we must jettison this tribal thing as quickly as possible.

Great interview and amazing responses. Very enlightening and gives hope for the future we all desire together as good citizens of Nigeria. I only noticed something from the conversation. He spoke about building a formidable force of professionals across the nation, that will cut across tribal, religious and other divides in the country but when asked about his issue with one of the Okoyes, he made us to know that till now, it has not been sorted out and from his tone he did not intend to settle the rift. I feel if he will have to model what he was trying to preach or sell, then he will need to settle the issue with the Okoye. If you will successfully galvanize people from across the nation from different works of life you must be able to manage opposing views without losing the persons, if not you will have many people to keep in their places and at the end you will have few to run with and not get the needed result. A major part of the challenge we are having is that even those of us who are not in the elite class are divided in our views and we refuse to work together. The Sowore not ready to align with Obi, the Seun not ready to listen to what Okoye is saying. This is what the elite class want and they keep having it. Until the various leaders outside this class come together, putting aside their differences and having a reasonably agreed common ground, then can they successfully mobilize the people for the needed change. It should not be an issue of if it's not coming from me, then I cant surrender my view to it. So Mr Seun mend your relationship with the Okoye and I think that will give a signal that we are really serious and ready to work together towards the future we desire. Else we will talk and 2027 will come and we will fight ourselves again and they will still win. Its a game of divide and rule. APC was only able to remove PDP when different parties came together. Just a little observation from the interview. Thanks
