I’m 37 years old and am a old school fan of Underoath. I first got into them seeing the music video “when the sun sleeps” on a Christian music video channel at my dads in 2002 when I was 16. My dad was pretty strict about me listening to Christian music back then. So I consumed myself in Christian metal/ post hardcore/screamo bands like them. I saw them for the first time live on a rainy day at Warped Tour 2004 in Houston Texas when I had just turned 18. They were playing on a smaller stage and it was amazing and super intimate. Will never forget that day and that show. I found this music video because Nothing, Nowhere was advertising their show coming to my city of Austin Texas. So I searched it up and I’m so glad to see Nothing, Nowhere helping to keep this music and style alive. It makes me so happy to see this 20 years later. Not to sound like the typical older guy, but guys seriously enjoy your late teens and early 20s because the shit FLIES BY! Enjoy every moment and relationship you build. Don’t sweat the small petty things and don’t let anyone else but you control your emotions. Because no matter what emotion you express it’s not going to change. Just stay calm and positive always. Just sharing with you guys my experience so far in life. I was pretty short fused in my youth and it caused a lot of problems that could have been avoided and destroyed relationships that could have been great. I love all of you and stay positive!

Dude's got pipes, and is about as chill a person as you can meet. I saw Underoath in 2009 at Soundwave (Australian Festival) and my friends and I had made these singlets with the name of a band playing that day. I chose Underoath, and while watching Alkaline Trio, this dude comes up is like, "Yo, that shirt is rad. Do they have it at the merch tent?" I turned thinking it was someone taking the piss, and was going to go off, only to see it was Aaron, and one of the guys from their tour entourage. We watched Alk3 together, and talked music for a bit and how he was working on a new Almost record, before he went backstage again to get ready for Underoath's set. He didn't know it, but it made my day.
