The dotted font is synonymous with Nothing’s identity, the logo. It’s honestly what a lot of us Nothing fanboys love & choose Nothing for. And as of late, we have seen Nothing stray away from its identity. Especially the usage of dotted fonts. New widgets have visibly shifted away from Nothing’s iconic dotted font, which was so loved by the fanbase. And it was quite shocking to see how Nothing had moved away from the dotted format for the Closed loop NothingOS3.0 beta release.

The dotted font is impractical and hinders readability. Its good they got rid of it and are implementing dot-matrix in the UI and animations instead.

​@@kindofanmolI get your perspective, but I personally feel like now nothingOS just look way too generic. The dotted font wasn't a problem in the settings panel, but was a problem on the quick setting clock, perhaps just give the people the option to choose from dot matrix or the serif font.

Yeah it is because of the 120hz refresh rate, a lot of people turn it off that's why then don't experience the battery draining, nothing really needs to optimise it's fresh rate and battery consumption.

Readability was poor with it. Its good they got rid of it. Dot-matrix is now being implemented in the UI and animations instead.

No separate app lock, No option to pin tabs, Full data disable option missing, no notch hide, For auto brightness you have to go to settings and more 20 features I can list . Waste of money when I went for cmf 1

@@happpydeepak5386 Nothing OS has an app locker, idk what pin tabs and full data disable option should mean though. There'll be an auto brightness toggle in the brightness slider starting with NOS 3.0 (you should have watched the video)
