Ang gusto ko sa phone nito is the support through updates for optimization sa software, according to Karl Pei mismo nag hire sila ng more than 500+ software engineers para lang mag fix ng mga bugs at improvement so habang tatagal mas ma o-optimize pa nila ang nothing phone 1. Maybe phone (2) will address most of the existing issue. Not a "sulit" phone for now. Glyph feature is still limited. Kung gusto niyo masulit ang pera niyo, I suggest to wait for phone (2) instead.

Specs wise, it's near the Poco F4. Difference lies in the rear camera and SoC. RAM, ROM the same. Front cam, display, battery - similar but with a few differences. Physically, very different of course.

It really has potential, for now ill skip, better wait for at least 2-3yrs for the brand to improve in terms of their software optimization, hardware and new model releases. Maybe a 3rd gen of this phone can match any midrange for it offers a well-rounded experience compared to other android brands and keeping the price at range.

It's comparable against Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, and Huawei. Pero since Xiaomi (Poco, Redmi, Blackshark), Realme, Infinix, and Pova has been banking here in the Philippines with their very low price but have a mid-range specs it won't click for the masses. That Glyph though i think is more of a hype. U cant use its lighting capability for more than 1foot subject separation while using the camera at night. charging notification in front of the phone is much more informative than the lighting effect at the back. Aside from aesthetic its truly a gimmick but sure it brings up the hype to the majority, hehehe

Unang phone to ng company, kaya kung iisipin nyo iisang phone lang din iintindihin nila pag dating sa optimization ng software. Ikumpara nyo yan dun sa mga ibang midranged phone na may same specs na mas mura, maganda nga specs pero pag tagal kala mo budget na. Para saakin hindi okay itong phone na to. Ang mahal niya for the specs compared to other midrange phones na nag ooffer ng same specs. Isa pang concern ko, pano kapag gusto mong lagyan ng case yung cellphone (for protection purposes) Edi matatakpan lang din yung design niya sa back. Mas okay mag invest sa phone na may magandang ui, optimized yung battery, apps, camera at lalong lalo na yung consistency ng phone specially sa pag support ng updates for many years.
