Weird because my 8 pro performs better than iPhones and any Samsung ultra phones I've used. However, I do use mine every day instead of dragging it out of a drawer for random videos. 😂

VPN makes the phone a little hotter and the performance of the device drops a little, it also affects the ping and internet speed, which affected some of those apps, especially apps like Amazon or Instagram. And the problem is that It was active on the Pixel!

I did not under any circumstances say that Tensor Chip is better or worse, although Snap Dragon is definitely better in temperature management! Also, if VPN was active on Nothing Phone, I would have said the same thing! I am not a fanboy of a particular phone like some people. Between these two, both phones are respectable!

The tensor chip is no doubt a really bad chip, the cellular reception is unstable at best (compared to other DSP's). The battery drain due to the same is significantly higher on mobile data (just keeping the mobile data on) while climbing 40 C and higher. I don't even want to talk about the lack of performance and bugs that you get for free of cost with Google (who's apparently develops android OS!) PS. used to be a pixel 7 owner (which died in 3 months of use for a stupid quality control issue - Manufacturer side) and now own a nothing phone 2 for more than 7-8 months, which has far fewer bugs, is more stable and efficient.

Hello ! Apple is one of the better phones that don't suffer this issue too much, however best way is to vary your screens as in don't leave the same wallpaper all the time, don't stay on one screen all the time, change your brightness levels from time to time, and avoid having the auto lock on for longer than 1-2 minutes.

@@INTREPIDE3173 I’m also an Esport player, I use the iPhone XS tho. I did have screen burning, so this my advice to u. As along as the pixels are moving, u won’t have any problems. When you’re not using ur iPhone, just lock the screen. Also avoid AOD, saw a friend with an iPhone 14pro get screen burning cause of AOD. Don’t leave ur display on for too long if nothing on the display is constantly moving. Just turn the display off if you’re not doing anything that requires the display to be turned on. Also avoid longer screen timeouts, especially 5minutes- never. Stick to 30s- 2mins.

ive seen the pixel 8 pros multi hit the 4200 mark in geekbench i ran one on my mates and it scored an 1803 and a 4278. so its kind of close. pixels are definetly underpowered a bit. even my galaxy s21 ultra exy version scored a 1502 and a 3972 in multi which is barely behind in my opinion. they need to focus on cpu upgrades
