At that price of 45k I'd expect it to have a charger in the box and yes I too like punch hole to be at side of the display instead of center it's less distracting that way! I wish it had headphone jack! Also more colour options would be nice!

I coming from a huawei mate 20 pro and got this phone a couple of days and simply love it❤ Clean android experience, solid 2 day battery life and camera is good overall. Love the fact that nothing phone does something different than other brands and since i own this phone i tend to not pick my phone up because of the barebone nothing widget design.

Is it because of underclocking done by OnePlus ? And does the device perform at peak performance (that is 3.2 GHz) when we turn on "high performance mode" ?

Hole punch to corner is very much functional and gives phone a good look and will not be intrusive will watching a video or while gaming. Centre one is an eye sore to me. Surprisingly i even feel dew drop is much better and it doesn't disturb while looking at the phone. Maybe its just me. Dont know why so called many big KZbinrs 🐐 want a centre punch hole.?? Either they are dumb (or praise for review units) or got successful just by luck. Ash you are a gem 💎. Carry on the good work and share your honest opinion as you do every time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

For starters, this test is surely the most honest, truthful and measured I have seen regarding this smartphone 🙏🏽 Seriously (I genuinely want to know), someone explains to me how this smartphone at $600 or €700 in Europe is a better deal than (real) high-end of last year like the OnePlus 10 Pro, Oppo Find X5 Pro, S22 Plus (Snapdragon), even iPhone 13... and especially a OnePlus 11 which can currently be found quite often and easily at the same price 🤔 Ps: it's a little misleading, dishonest on the part of Nothing (as well as Xiaomi with its Poco F5 Pro), to say that this smartphone has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, in reality, it is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but TSMC manufacture.

There's a reason why Snapdragon did that. 8 Gen 1 which was a Samsung made SoC, had a lot of throttling and heating issues. That chipset was openly criticised by many, and hence Qualcomm jumped back to TSMC for making a more efficient chipset, while being close enough to 8 Gen 1 and hence we got 8 + Gen 1. It's actually way more efficient than 8 Gen 1 so yeah it isn't the same chipset.

I do feel that the pricing is right. In today's inflation nothing is cheap. For example if you order food using delivery apps, you can see how much these companies charge you on top of the already increased menu price of that restaurant. Even cars have increased in price due to increased GST, thanks to Nirmala. So the current 45k is more or less equal to the 35k, 2~3 years back. That is what I feel. The phone is great in my opinion. Take the pixel 7 pro which had many issues after launch like too many bugs, signal not receiving properly for Indian users, back camera glass breaks, call drops. It was 85K. but I feel that Nothing is a more refined experience without these bugs, so it is justified by the price tag.

food delivery apps are rip-offs, they are the cancer on our society, so please dont use them as a standard to compare with anything else :) now as for 35k from a few years back to now... sure I agree.. but 35k a few years back, would get us a current gen flagship with a charger and a case... this is last year's flagship soc... if it had a 8 gen 2 and was priced at 45k, I'd be fine... but right now, its 45k for the phone and at least 1-2000 more for the charger and a case... I dont expect a 30k price... but 10% lower would have made it more competitive...

Yes it is overpriced. We have to buy a PD charger, a case and a tempered glass which adds up. Plus there's no telephoto camera. If there was then price would be justified i guess. Personally I think a Telephoto lens is more practical than a ultra wide lens. People rarely use a uw camera but the telephoto lens is great for portrait because of the background compression due to the focal length. I do think the price is gonna drop occasionally like the NP1. So maybe it's justifiable then.

I have Iphone 13 poo max Space Gray 512 gb from the first day of realese and one year ago i switched to Nothing Phone 1 White 12x256 gb sadly Devil in me forced to buy Nothing Phone 2 Gray 12x256 and i am very happy with that move from Devil 😅 now i know i buy no more iPhone they are extremely overpriced garbage And small tip for you next time use very sharp knife cut carefully side of box as i have did and the box be in much nicer condition
