There is an example of 2 bigger clubs in the UK almost merging more recently. Back in the early 90's, there was an effort to merge Hibs and Hearts in Scotland. Wallace Mercer played the role of Robert Maxwell. His thinking was that a 'united' Edinburgh club would be better placed to challenge to Old Firm. There was a lot of politics involved and I'm not on one side or the other but it is a fascinating story - maybe one for the great JJ to tell us all about in full.

@Ben B Artist To those who are unfamiliar to the story would have no clue what the quote is talking about, could literally be any topic. Its clickbait because its designed to make viewers want to click to find out what is meant by 'this' and the word 'will' suggests it is something about the future and not a video about a past event. Even the 'end of the earth' adds drama to it making it more desirable to click. Compare it to their other videos "Newcastle and Stepping Stone players" which tells you what the subject is and you can see how much of a clickbait title it is. Its not as bad as other clickbait titles but still a clickbait title all the same!
