I applaud your dedication to driving all the way to Florida time after time to produce great videos. I always enjoy videos when there are multiple species in the video and you had 4 in this one which is crazy because 3 of them can't be found in Texas. My favorite though is always the Mayan cichlids because they are so cool looking. Glad to see you posting again since it's been a while but I did get a chance to see the one video that got taken down last week and enjoyed that one as well. As always thanks for inspiring people including me to make fishing videos and I always look to your videos for inspiration for thumbnails and titles. Great video!

Exhausting but Rewarding I'm sure. I believe I saw you do this same trip last year or the one before. Location looks really familiar. 😢 if you're snoozing in the car the entire night. Tight lines and be safe.

Those stickers may be what I call "goatheads". Used to give me hell as a little boy on my bike. Flatten a bike tire in a heart best. Thanks for the video.

All the same reasons any animal gets forced out of an area: over fishing, runoff pollution, habitat fragmentation (through damn building), this state's abhorrent water management policies, habitat destruction through over development, etc. There's been a huge number of species that were very recently found throughout Texas, but no more (or have become relegated to much smaller or specific areas).

We did that drive before except we drove down to Miami from Temple, Tx. Not fun for someone who hates driving. Didn't even get to fish while we were there. Saw lots of butts in bikinis though, so I won't complain.
