Halfway through I burst into tears realising I never need to be abused by my whole family ever again. What a relief and a release. I never ever want to see any of them as long as I live. My parents and my siblings. They don't deserve me. I am the creator of my own life and god's got a great plan to prosper me and not to harm me. I'm in a 12 step ACA programme and it's hard and painful. It's for adult children of alcoholics/dysfunctional parents. I have suffered anxiety since a child as my Mum had agoraphobia and i grew up thinking the world is unsafe. I am 58 and still suffer. I have been into 'self help' since my 20's.
